    Bronson Pant

The prAna Bronson has rivet reinforcements and added stretch so it's durable enough to handle all kinds of crazy stuff like vaulting over fences in pursuit of bad guys and sliding across car hoods as you sprint through busy intersections. Or maybe it's just durable enough to handle kicking back with a cold one after you finally send that stupid-hard bouldering problem.

    • A touch of spandex adds flexibility for kicking your feet up
    • Standard fit works well for post-climb chilling
    • Gusseted crotch gives your legs room to move
    • Item #PRA1460

    I wear these pants everyday

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 30x34
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 140lbs

It’s not weird though because I have them in black, green, khaki, and mud. The mud is my favorite because it reminds me of a Carhartt work pants, but I don’t work hard enough to justify Carhartt and I definitely don’t need a hammer loop. These are super durable and great for climbing yet flexible enough to do yoga in, which I have many times. Prana killed it again. 5 star pants!

Thats a nice pair of pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 34x32
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 180lbs

Just ordered my first pair of these hoping to find a comfortable, durable, somewhat stylish look, although the first two are more important. Im 5'11, 180lbs, but my legs are pretty bulky. It's always hard finding a good pair of pants that fit right in the thighs without getting a pair of husky pants. These are pretty dang nice without trying on beforehand I was skeptical but they were on sale so I figured why not. Great length, great fit at the waist and in the legs. I know some people said they could be slightly more tapered in the calves, yeah maybe, but I could care less. Comfort wins.

    Love me some Prana

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 34w x 32L
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 195lbs

Purchased Bronson pants in acacia brown. I have also purchased Bronson pants in the color mud previously.
Both are true in waist and length.
These pants can be worn on the trail or out on a Saturday night. Love these pants!!
I also own stretch Zion pants and shorts and Bronson shorts. You can’t go wrong with Prana.

    Nice pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 33x30
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 160lbs

This is one of those rare instances where the pants fit me perfect without tailoring. I was looking for a red pair and this one had the right hue. I have washed several times without any bleeding or discoloration. The material is comfortable but rugged. It is quickly becoming my favorite pant for traveling.

    Couldn't Be Happier

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 28x32
    • Height: 6'
    • Weight: 144lbs

It's hard to find pants in 28x32, so these already had a leg up before they arrived. I've worn them through several washes now, and they fit perfectly, the color hasn't bled, they're very breathable, I love the gusset crotch. This is one of the rare products I have no criticism of. I'm a fan now.

    Excellent cool weather climbing pant

    • Size Bought: 32x34
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 165lbs

Go to fall pants for climbing. Length and sizing are great, especially for a tall individual. Material is tough, washes well, and the cuff around the legs works well for folding up when climbing. Belt loops are good too. Survived a whole season of climbing with no signs of wear.

    Bell cuffs?

I had to return the pants. I like everything else about these pants but the cuffs are comically large - I wear engineer's boots and wear a lot of boot cut pants. The cuffs are beyond a boot cut. I read some reviews about the pant being baggy but the cuffs make my boots look tiny!

      Prana did not disappoint

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 28x30
      • Height: 5'7"
      • Weight: 135lbs

I've had my eye on these pants a little while. Picked up the shorts last summer and loved those. Just got a pair of the pants and I can't stop wearing them. Classic Prana quality and fit. They look a little nicer than jeans and are more comfortable. Durable material seems to hold up very well to abrasion. As with most most of Prana's pants they offer exceptional range of motion and are comfy to climb in.

      Great Pants

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

I love the way that these pants fit, not to tight anywhere but not so loose you feel like you are wearing parachute pants. i simply love them and have not had any issues with the inconsistent sizing.

      First prana item that disappointed...

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 34/32
      • Height: 5'10"
      • Weight: 180lbs

I'm a huge fan of Prana, have tons of their stuff, even have another pair of the Bronson's in cargo green, but these pants disappointed. Either something changed from previous years, or because of the khaki color, but these pants stay wrinkled beyond belief and feel like cardboard. I know the Bronson is supposed to be a rugged work pant, but these stay so wrinkled that you can barely wear them. My wife cringes when she sees me try to wear them. Still a prana fan, but def don't recommend the Bronson in khaki.

      Men's Pants Fit Me Best!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 30
      • Height: 6'1"
      • Weight: 140lbs

I LOOOOOOVE prAna, and when I got tired of suffering over the women's sizes I turned to the men's side! They are a little loose on the waist, but that is to be expected because they form to a boxy man shape. Love the stretch. Perfect for climbing (:

      So close to perfect

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 36x34
      • Height: 6'1"
      • Weight: 210lbs

I normally wear a 36 in the waist so that's the size I ordered these Bronson pants in. I'd say they are 36-ish... just a tiny bit snug after washing. The length is dead on -> 34 inches. They have a comfortable cut. The material is thicker normal pants, but not appreciably stiffer... just a bit. I'm living in Lubbock right now and the wind blows most of the time. The wind doesn't cut through this material so no need for a base layer... the pants breath great. WHY NOT A PERFECT %?! The bottoms are so open... not bell-bottom open, but at least boot-cut open (maybe more?) at the bottom. On the other hand, they match up with my Danner boots perfectly... I just don't wear mountain boots to class.

      Nice Non-Jean Alternative

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Height: 6'0"
      • Weight: 207lbs

I'm about 6ft tall and 207 lbs currently with medium sized legs and a 34-35 inch waist. Got these as an all purpose casual cargo-type pant. The waist is true, the butt and thighs are snug, but the stretch makes them really comfortable. Below the knee they are loose and large. I probably could have went with the 32" length, but they seem to work just fine being a little long. Comfortable and can probably be used for active stuff (a lot of cotton though) or to hang out, or go out to dinner. I always figure if something is too big, I can just cook it in the dryer... but these don't seem to shrink much so far. Still, I like them.

      Solid Pants

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Height: 5'10"
      • Weight: 145lbs

These are some of my favorite pants--they look great, fit well, and feel durable. The only downside is that they are pretty heavy and can be kind of restricting.

      Comfortable Everyday Pant!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 34/34
      • Height: 6'1"
      • Weight: 210lbs

These Prana pants are super comfortable and very flexible. They look like casual pants and can be worn about anywhere. Easy to work in and then hit the local watering hole.

      Solid Pant

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 28x32
      • Height: 5'11"
      • Weight: 145lbs

This is a great pant, it's constructed in a very intelligent way to provide more mobility in the thigh region whilst not sacrificing style. In this way it's a form fitting and stylish pant yet breathable and comfortable. I'm planning on buying more of this and other prana pants in the future.

Great pants although a little baggy

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 31x30
      • Height: 5'6"
      • Weight: 150lbs

I bought these pants a month or two ago and have worn them on a few camping/climbing trips, used them for everyday lounge wear, errands, and have worn them to the gym a number of times. I think these pants are great! My only wish is that they were a little less baggy below the knee. They look a little silly when I wear anything but boots or outdoor shoes. I wish they looked better with slimmer sneakers.

Oh well, great pants. I'll buy another pair!

      Are These Getting Baggier?

I've been wearing these Bronson pants for 8+ years adn the last 2 pairs i got were really baggy. Not sure if Prana has changed them up or if I got a few defective pairs, but they weren't anything like the 20+ others I've owned in the past.

        Unanswered Question

Does anyone know if they fixed the issue with unfixable wrinkling?
I have two pairs of these. one from maybe 3 years old, I love them, they fit great and are insanely durable, outlasted two pairs of kuhl ryders for climbing.
That said, I have a second pair, same size, different color, they are about a year newer, they got super wrinkles after the first wash. I didn't leave them in the washer or dryer or anything like that, they just came out of the wash with huge creases. I tried ironing them out to no avail. Reading the review on here, looks like I am not the only one. So I was wondering if the newer versions have this same issue?
        M 5' 11" 170 lbs athletic build, size purchased 32X32.

I have a pair of these pants from last...

I have a pair of these pants from last year and I really love the fit. That being said I just ordered another pair a couple of weeks ago and the fit seems much wider in the leg at the bottom of the pant. I laid both of the pants on top of one another and in fact my pants from last year had a much more tapered leg. Does anyone know if they changed the fit on this model since last year or did I unknowingly shrink my older pants in the wash over time?
