    Favorite pants!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 35x32
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 205lbs

Hands down my go to pants. these things are super comfortable and look great. Ware them in office, out with friends or on the trail. They are light weight and breathable. The fit is great and true to size. I am 6 ft 205lbs and the 35x32 is perfect.

    Legs - Pretty Baggy

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Size Bought: 36 x 32
    • Height: 6'
    • Weight: 175lbs

Everything about these was right with one big exception. I set out to find a more trim fitting pair of hiking pants and these are definitely not it. I liked the light weight, non-wrinkling, quick dry fabric in a nice color (Mud). However, the legs were pretty baggy. I had hoped for a more trim, modern fit. Instead the legs are 10" across at the hem when laid flat. This is an out of date look. It is fine if you want legs that flap in the breeze and maybe slide over boots to put them on. Then you may like them. But I want to wear them traveling and walking and not just out in the woods or the mountains. So I returned them. I will keep looking for something neater, more slim.

    Pants or Pajamas??

Do you know the feeling of waking up on Christmas morning to see a new pair of the most comfortable PJs waiting under the tree for you to lounge in for the rest of the season? Well when it comes to these Brion pants, this feeling is the exact same if not better every day you wear them. I have now began to replace my closet with every color of these wonderful stretchy pants, and will continue to buy them in the future. They're perfect for the outdoors in hiking, climbing, walking, sitting, eating, drinking, you get the picture. Plus, they're perfect for a casual night out with your buddies, dressed up with for a date night, sitting behind your desk typing email after email at work,or even on Saturdays cracking a cold one with the boys. By far the most versatile pants on the planet. Prana, thank you for these glorious pants.

Note on sizing: I wear a 34x34 pant normally in jeans and chinos. 34 in the waist was spot on for my fit,but they do run a tad long. I wear a 34x32 in the Brions and the length is perfect for me.

Don't hesitate at all on these if you even have an ounce of an interest in these, and if you don't.... One day you will. I promise you that.

    Perfection

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 30x32
    • Height: 5'11"

Great slim fit which makes for very comfortable strides while hiking/running and avoids the dreaded wind sail effect when it gets blustery above tree line. Just got back from a trip hiking a few 3000' munros in Scotland and they were perfect. Water resistant and dry quickly when they do get wet. These will be my 3 season hiking and climbing uniform for a long while since shorts are always a role of the dice in Colorado.

    Love em'

Same material as the Zion Stretch but cut to look more urban. Look and feel great. At fist i thought they ran long, but got used to them and think the length is perfect. Without the built in belt of the Zions' I do wish i sized down the waist an inch, to prevent them from feeling a tad big after hiking a ways.

    Excellent!

I've had all the travel pants...from kavu to outdoor research to Patagonia and so on. These are by far the best. They are cool and airy yet don't wrinkle easily or look like parachute pants like so many others do. They fit right in while traveling or afternoon drinks. Highly recommend. Great fit. True to size to slightly large.

    Fit slightly large

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 32/32
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 170lbs

The Brions feel like they run a bit big in the waist, and (as other reviewers have also noted), they aren't as narrow as Prana's other slim-fit pants.
I don't really mind that the legs feel loose, I think that the more relaxed fit makes for better mobility.
They aren't super durable, but there aren't many stretchy outdoor pants that last well.

Super comfy - runs a little long

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 32 x 32
    • Height: 6'4"
    • Weight: 170lbs

These are extremely comfortable pants. I would note that they run a little long- I usually wear a 32x34, and had to send a pair back and order a 32x32 (which are the perfect length). It's the only pants I own in a 32 length, everything else is 34. They also run a little bit too baggy at the bottom, perhaps to fit over boots, but would like them slightly slimmer.

    My Go-To Pants!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 33x32
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 179lbs

I had purchased a pair of Prana Zion pants before these which I liked, but felt the legs were a little too loose fitting. Then I tried these on at a local store and fell in love! I typically wear a 32x32 and sometimes 33x32 in jeans/pants, but for these I wear a 33x32 which feel perfect. I love them, because I can wear these to the office and go straight to the gym after work without changing pants. The material provides the right amount of stretch and the gusseted crotch is key for climbing. I'm probably a 31 length and every company has their own idea of what 32 length is and these are a tad longer than your average company. I buy 32 length, because I don't want to wear high-waters after I wash them, but I haven't noticed any shrinking with these. If I'm not wearing shoes then I would be walking on them, but I just roll them up a tad and don't mind the cuff. I can't recommend these enough, it's out with the khakis and in with the Brions!!

Chancho. When you are man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. Its for fun. -Nacho Libre

Nacho would be wicked jealous of the stretch brion. I wear them constantly and they still look and feel brand new. Resilient, stretchy, eco-friendly, affordable. The only thing missing is you to accommodate them.

So Many 5 Stars for a Reason

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

This is Jes' husband, she ordered me these pants. Basically, they are great...just buy them. They are light, lots of stretch, do not "swish" when walking, and look enough like normal pants while still acting as outdoor/hiking/whatever pants. Being a light material, they aren't as warm in cool weather, but that's fine as an active pant. The front pockets are mesh, which is nice in some ways, but also hopefully they will last for a long time. My only complaint is I wish the leg/calf was a slimmer fit (the pants say slim fit on them, but they are a very typical shape that will work for basically everyone). At the same time, this width makes them not restrict any movement and fit over hiking boots easily.

    Glorious Comfort and Fit

This is the second Prana pant I have purchased and I am thrilled to report it is just as great as the Bridger jean.
To anyone familiar with the Lululemon ABC pant, I would say the Prana Brion is very comparable and honestly more comfortable. Not to mention at the price point, it's hard to beat it. The material is stretchy and there plenty of room for the family jewels. I wear them to work, to the bars, and out on the trails. They are super versatile and look great. Fit is spot on. I am 5'8 150 lbs and the 30x30 fit great although I do have to cuff the pant legs a bit.

    Comfortable. Stretchy. Look good.

These are a great pant for hiking/climbing that can also double for walking around town. They perform well on the rock - stretchy and durable enough - and are also a clean looking pant for throwing on a nice shirt and going out to dinner. I have been on the hunt for a slim-fitting climbing+town pant and these are ALMOST it... They are slim through the hip and thigh, but a little baggier than desired in the calf. (Probably good for getting over a boot though). That's the only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5. Great price though, and I appreciate all the sizing options. I have also tried the Patagonia Quandry pant and like the Brion a bit more.

    Stretchy and light

I love these pants...quick drying without feeling like you've tied soviet surplus parachute material around your lower extremities. Comfortable and stretchy enough that I can throw them on to ski laps in the morning and the clean lines and lack of unnecessary extra pockets mean you can roll right into the office.

These are one of my top pants to wear; with the stretch material being one of the main reasons. The fit on this is the more tapper and tight fitting style of pant, which normal bugs me, but with the stretch in them these never rode up or bunched up either. These pants are also extremely breathable which makes them a great choice for physical activities, but the fitted look also makes them great for a more classy occasion.Over-all these are a great pair of pants and I would recommend them to most everyone.

    Great pants!

I got these pants for my boyfriend since he really likes his Brion shorts, and basically wears them everyday in the summer. He likes that they fit the same in the waist, are just as comfortable as the shorts, and have long length options since he's tall

    Unanswered Question

My Zion Pants size S are 17inches in waist (laid down flat) - they are perfect - need to find the corresponding size in the Brion Pant..
Please, could someone provide the actual waist measure when the Brion Pants are laid down flat.. Size 30 and 32...
    Thank you.

Does anybody else find that the inseam runs long? For example, I am nearly always a 32x32 and even with the pRana WYATT, I wear a 32x32 but the Brion feels like a 31 inseam would be perfect. I'm trying both a 32 and 30 inseam. What's your take?

I have several pairs of these pants and love them. However, I notice that when I want to buy more my size is never available, in the colours I like. Being in Australia I can't try on clothes so I take a risk buying online. What are some brands that offer fitted or slim fit hiking/climbing pants, I hate baggy pants and like the feel of fitted pants with stretch like the brions. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Try Zipravs. They are Korean-made. The ones I got from Amazon fit great and appear to be pretty durable so far....The shipping from Korea was easier for me to get in Alaska than from the lower 48. They also run small. I wear a 30 and ordered a 32 and they are perfect. Good luck!

Thanks heaps buddy, believe it or not I have had a few wins with Korean made pants especially dress pants. I will check them out now. Thanks again!

UPDATE - I just bought two pairs, they look like exactly what I want, finally!

Does Prana run true to size?

Does Prana run true to size?

Are these basically the stretch zion pants...

Are these basically the stretch zion pants but with a slimmer fit?

Although the picture makes them look a little slimmer they are a standard fit, just like the Stretch Zion pants. The Brion pant is a blend of the Bronson pant and the Stretch Zion pant. The Brion pant has the same fabric as the Zion but it doesn't have the built in adjustable belt, the roll up leg snaps or the cargo pocket. Like the Bronson, it has the 5 pocket styling with the reinforced rivet details. Essentially streamlining this style to be more of a casual feel but still with the same awesome, super durable fabric of the Zion, that we have all come to know and love.

And just a side note, they are also DWR coated :)
