    Most Versatile Pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 2
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 115lbs

Most versatile pants hands down. I've been wearing cargo green and I’ve already bought another pair in coal. Comfortable, stretchy, cute and durable. Dress down or dress up. These are great and cute not only to wear out day to day but durable and flexible enough to climb / hike in. Material is great and has kept me dry in some light rain while biking which is a huge plus. Can’t recommend these enough!

    Go to pants

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 0
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 110lbs

These are my go to pants for climbing. I've put them to the test numerous times and though I've come off walls with knees skinned, scraped and bleeding they haven't ripped at all, although they have pilled in these areas. Their stretch and strength makes them perfect for casual climbing, hiking, and are comfortable enough to just wear around the house. They haven't stretched out or changed shape in the year and a half I've had them. Will definitely buy another pair when I've worn these out too much.

    2nd Pair!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 2
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 125lbs

Like all of my reviews, you will hear me blab about how much I love Prana etc. But really! This is my second pair of these, I have an Olive Green pair and recently just picked up the black as well. They are perfect for going from the outdoors/ any casual setting to work! I rarely get clothes I can't do both in so these pants are a valued piece in my wardrobe. I do feel that they have changed the sizing in these a bit though. I am usually a 0 in all of my Prana pants but I have both of these in a 2. I believe it is the fabric.

So if you want a pant that does both and looks cute! This pant is perfect.

    A Little Disapponted

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 4
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 135lbs

I was so happy with the fit and stretch and the pant overall but then only after a few times wearing them the threading on one of my knees started to come undone. I am hoping this will be a quick and easy fix for a seamstress because I do love the pants!

    Comfortable and goes with everything!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 12
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 160lbs

These pants are seriously one of my favorite items to wear. They look great on me even though I have a curvier shape, and they are one of the few skinny pants that actually fit over my large calves without being too big in other areas. Super stretchy so they feel like leggings but look much less casual. I can wear them with a tee or dress them up with a blouse, and the coal grey color matches with everything. Plus side of having to size up was they ended up having more of a mid-rise on me, so no muffin top!

    Almost Perfect

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 00
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 105lbs

Prana, I want to love these pants. I love your products. I love your brand image. I love what you do. But I do not love your sizing - yes, I am smaller than the average woman. At 5'2 and roughly 105 pounds, I am almost child sized. I barely pass for an adult. I get carded a lot. However, I actually do fit into most adult clothes, even though pants have always been a struggle.

Regardless, there is no reason why a 00 should be a size too large on me. These are JUST small enough that I can get away with it, but if I hike the waist up too high (which there is ample space for) a huge gap is present between my lower back and the waist of the pants. Luckily my rear end has enough cushion to it where it can hold these up and keep them in place without a belt, but there is still no reason for them to be this big :(

Other than the sizing...I do really like these pants. They are a flattering cut and the moto details really make them stand out. The material feels good, a little scratchier than anticipated but I don't mind it. These pants can dress up any outfit and you can wear them with any type of shoe.

Prana, get your sizing act together! Small people matter and we love your clothes!

I love the Prana Kara pant, but decided to look at a lighter weight style for the summer months ahead. A friend of mine purchased a pair of these a few years ago and I had always thought they were cute. I ended up purchasing a pair for myself (in Volcanic Plum) and I love them. Perfect fit, nice and light weight, plenty of stretch for sitting or hiking, and cute colors. Overall it was a hit!

    Prana Brenna Pant- Sahara Sand

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These were my first pair of Prana pants. I purchased after hearing so many of my friends rave about them. They live up to the hype. They are very comfortable. Many people said to size up and I found this to be true for me as well.

    LOVE these pants

I just wore these pants for the first time today to my business casual job (even got a few compliments) and then straight out after to hit the trails. They are very light weight and comfortable.

    Love these!

I love these pants and now have four pairs in different colors! They’re super comfortable and really cute. In prana I usually wear the short size but that was not available (which is my only complaint) they are a little long on me but nothing I can’t roll under if it bugs me. I haven’t owned these pants

      My go to pant!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: 6
      • Height: 5'7"
      • Weight: 140lbs

I had several people recommend these pants to me so finally decided to give them a shot when I saw them on sale. Absolutely worth every penny! The fabric has a good amount of stretch to it. I found these to be perfect for hiking , no chafing or uncomfortable rubbing anywhere. I often struggle with pants staying in place as they stretch, but even climbing some steep terrain these didn't budge or sag. I am 5'7 , about 140 , athletic build, very little booty or hips but thicker thighs and long legs. I am normally a size 4 but I sized up to a 6 with these pants , the 4s fit but were definitely second skin like, the 6s allowed a little extra wiggle room while still being flattering. I also found I can comfortable fit a baselayer under the 6 without it feeling overly constricting. Would gladly wear these pants, on a day to day basis, whether hiking or just running errands because they are so comfortable. I definitely will be looking at purchasing a second pair of these in another color!

      Great pant, but...

I love these pants. I love the stretch, the fabric, the design and the mid-rise, but I already have a few snag spots. I've only wore them maybe 5 times so I'm a little sad about it. I'm 5'5" and 150lbs, curvy build and wear the 6 comfortably in black.

      OK

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Height: 5'6"

I bought these pants in two colors-black and coal. The ruffled detail on the knee of the coal pair started coming undone the first day I wore them. It is still maintaining some of the shape but there's now a two inch gap where the stitches are completely gone and it won't stop so the entire row will probably be undone soon. I thought that the black pair ran smaller than the coal so I laid them on top of each other and the black pair is about an inch smaller. Probably would have sized up in black, sizing on coal was fine.

      Awesome Pants!

      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 8
      • Height: 5'5"
      • Weight: 145lbs

I wear these pants all the time, they fit great and don't stretch out too quickly. I love the detail around the knees and thigh, it gives them a bit of extra flair. They look great with boots too!

      Best pants ever!

I recently saw these pants in a store and fell in love with them. They were a bit expensive so I did not buy them at the time. Luckily they were on sale at Backcountry so I bought the coal color. The pants are super comfy and the fit is fantastic. They do snag a bit but i will cut the snagged piece if it happens. I do not dry these in the dryer- i just air dry them. I do not want to ruin these pants. Now I almost wear these exclusively. I have the olive, coal and black pants. I did notice that the coal fits looser than the olive and the black. Not sure why, but good job Prana! These are amazing.

      Best pants ever!

      A+ Multifunctional Pants

These pants are great for a variety of activities, whether it be hiking, rock climbing or lounging around town. I've worn these in both cold and warm environments with no complaints, the fabric of the pants provide both breathability and insulation. The *only* downside of these pants is that the fabric has a tendency to snag quite easily. This won't be much of an issue unless you are wearing these for rock climbing, and in that case, a little wear and tear is to be expected. I've worn these pants on a regular basis for the past 1.5 years and I don't plan to retire them anytime soon.

      Another Great Prana Pant

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Height: 5'2"
      • Weight: 124lbs

I should begin with a disclaimer that I love Prana pants. Half of my pants drawer is Prana, and 2 pairs are the Brenna pants. I dig the moto styling, and Prana is one of the few brands I've found that makes pants with a good fit for athletic legs. I often have trouble with skinny pants, as the size that accommodates my rather muscular thighs is usually too big for my waist. I wear a 26 in Prana, and though I do need to use a belt, their pants are the closest I've come to a correct fit for my figure. My only critique for these pants is that the fabric snags very easily, so I end up getting a lot of pilling in areas that contact other surfaces frequently, namely, the top of the thigh. Other than that, they're wonderfully stylish and comfortable.
