    More like a light jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL

I'm tall and long with an average build and Prana size XL tends to fit me really well and this sweater is no exception. I like how Prana shirts are cut: they're not super boxy or wide, and the sleeves/torso are long enough for me (which is rare for me in brands that don't have Tall sizes).

I bought it as a sweater, but it doesn't really function like I anticipated. This "sweater" is much more like a light jacket or outer layer than it is a sweater. It's not super hefty so you can layer it, but it's primary use would be throw on over whatever you're wearing when it's chilly like a light jacket. I wouldn't necessarily sit at a desk all day wearing this without feeling like I left my jacket on. It's very much an in-betweener piece in that way.

The wool parts aren't super soft so I wouldn't wear it against the skin. I did wear it as an in-between layer underneath a down coat and it actually worked pretty well, but that was on a super cold day where I was going to be outside all day. It's a pretty warm layer.

Overall, I like the fit, it's a nice looking piece, and it's a great little light jacket to throw on for a cool night.
