No more missed shots and complaints from bratty athletes.

Rock the Pow Gloves Men’s Transfilmer Glove Keep to your trigger finger warm and make sure you get the shot when you’re on camera duty. These midweight softshell gloves transform from mitten to photo-friendly gloves in a jiffy so you won’t miss the action. Just slip the mitt's tip back to reveal a fingered glove that leaves your trigger finger free. A goat-skin palm, Thinsulate insulation, and micro-fleece lining keep your hands happy when not shooting.

    Product description incorrect

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small

Public service announcement - Took me several returns/exchanges before realizing this. POW redesigned this product, but didn't change the name! Backcountry's product description is also incorrect/outdated.

The current, re-designed version is a finger-less mitten - see my attached pic.

Unlike the picture in Cat's review from Dec 2014, one can't "just slip the mitt's tip back to reveal a fingered glove that leaves your trigger finger free".

    Run VERY small... disappointed

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Med & LG
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 160lbs

I read the reviews before I ordered two pairs (a Medium and a Large). Between the two sizes the fit is negligibly different. I'm not sure who's hands POW measured when they designed these, but I have been a medium for 20 years, and this medium (and almost the large) does not even come closet fitting . I would say I have an average hand shape, but the thumb on even the large is way too tight. The tight, where you know it will freeze off. The tight, like you think your wearing your wive's gloves!
The large would / might fit a long skinny hand, and even then, I'd bet that the thumb would be tight.
These looked like the perfect solution. Hence the disappointment. The quandary is... do I keep the large, and hope they stretch, or send both back, and keep looking and hoping...???

    Filmers Choice

On Hill all day filming your friends? Sick of taking off your mitts and then putting them on again. And then taking them off again, and then putting them on again.......

These gloves are made with windstopper, thinsulate insulation, goat leather, and microfleece. The top easily removes when you need to snap a photo or hold your camera, or goes back on when you are taking break.

Ladies, don't shy from these gloves!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

Thank you so much and POW Gloves for hand-selecting (no pun intended) me to review the Transfilmer Glove for the benefit of everyone in the community.

Yes, these gloves are categorized as mens gloves, but they really don't need to be. I usually wear an extra-small to small in women's gloves, and in the Transfilmer glove, a small works perfectly. Unlike a lot of gloves that convert into mittens, these don't use Velcro, but magnets. I like this setup, because Velcro gets worn out quickly and doesn't lie flat. I would say it is a little difficult to put your fingers into the mittens, but once you do, the function really well.

The exposed finger allows for easy access for photo and video buttons, focusing, and plugging in cables. Usually I ski around with my gloves tied to my hip belt or stuffed in the pockets, because I get tired of taking them on and off while skiing. These are going to be great and help me not look like a homeless ski bum. :)

In terms of warmth though, I think these are definitely not for super cold weather. Even while moving and photographing, my exposed finger got really cold, even when I put it in the mittens. These are better for warmer winter weather, when you aren't at risk for index finger frostbite.

I can't wait to use these gloves this season and get to you guys more on how they hold up on the slopes. But for now, I love the functionality and and fit of these gloves.

Ladies, don't shy from these gloves!

      POW Gloves: Transfilmer Glove Video

POW Gloves: Transfilmer Glove Video. More Filming, less freezing. POW Gloves: Pho-Tog Video. Spalding get your finger out of your nose! Convertible for smartphone and camera operation too. Sure, you can use it for your smartphone too.

stylish and functional, these gloves are perfect for getting the job done... great construction and quality stiching tie this piece together quite nicely. one complaint goes to the waterproofing rating of "0", even with supplied nikwax doesnt get the job done... superior grip of the goat however doubles there worth and make this a truly great glove to have in your quiver. all in all dont buy this glove for super snowy cold days, buy it for style' spring sessions...

these gloves are great keep your hands warm. the only draw side is that they get water logged. overall a great glove to have.
