If you're looking for a board that's stable enough to practice yoga on, quick enough to cruise across your local lake, and nimble enough to be a blast in surf, look no further than the POP Paddleboards Throwback Stand-UP Paddleboard. With a classic cruiser shape, rounded tail, and medium rocker profile, the Throwback is a do-anything specialist. The 2+1 thruster fin setup is a good way to go if you're planning on surfing knee-high waves, butthe system is adjustable so you can remove the two side fins and roll with a single center fin setup when you want the board to track better over open water.
Like all POP boards, the Throwback features a Nature Tech vacuum packed construction. This construction process vacuum seals a bamboo veneer around fiberglass laminates and a high-density foam core, which eliminates excess air between the sandwiched layers. This technique creates a light and durable board that effectively puts the handle on rocky coastlines, paddle dings, and SUP yoga sessions. POP even threw a deep-set center handle on the board, so you can easily carry the board from the car to the beach with just one hand.
