    Grip and glide.

The Pomoca Climb Pro S-Glide Climbing Skins strike a healthy balance between grip and glide capabilities. This skin does so with the silky glide of mohair and durable grip of nylon. These skins resist tangling and twisting, dry quickly, and cling to steep skintracks with dynamic tenacity. Glide technology reduces friction on each fiber so even sticky snow doesn't stick and slow them down. Ever Dry technology resists weight-adding moisture to keep the skins light and fast. The Back Fix attachment features a simple strap at the tip and an easily adjustable tail strap with plastic hook.

    Worth Every Penny

I've had mulitple editions of the G3's and these Pomoca's really stand out. The G3's are great, for the price. They really are. But, these Pomoca's are worth every penny, if you can spare it.

They are light and the do glide. I'm not sure about the previous reviewer. Maybe there are skins that have a lot more glide than these, and I just dont' have the experience. But, I would question their climbing abilities, then.

There seems to be a tiny bit less traction climbing, than the g3 alpinist. But, just a small amount and it's worth the trade off for the glide.

I also prefer the glue on these. I can rip them off my skis, which is so awesome. It's harder on colder days, but still doable.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These skins are awesome! They have the best grip I've experienced without sacrificing the glide. Plus, they were super easy to cut for the skis. Other reviews complained that the plastic grips broke, but they also sent me metal ones with these so nothing to complain about here!

      The best grip and glide

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have never had a skin as good as this one, hands down. It has the best grip/glide ratio I have ever experienced in a skin, and I could not recommend it enough! If you are the market for a good mohair skin, definitely take a look. Also, check out the details video below.

      Best of all worlds

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've used G3 Alpinists and BD Ascensionists skins for years, mainly the G3's.
This is my first season on these and I'm really happy with them. THey pack smaller and are lighter than my G3's. They've got the same grip, and better glide. This skin does it all better than any skin I've tried in the past!

      great skins...buying more.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've only got experience with BD skins and these but on paper, these are lighter and go on/off easy and I'm not seeing any performance deficit (maybe improvement?) from my use last year. I'm putting together another touring setup (narrower for packed/tracked touring days) and buying more so put me down as a repeat customer.

      Ultra Fast and Ultra Grip

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are the best all around skins I have used so far. almost as fast as mohair pure skins but with better grip and better moisture management due to the mix of mohair and nylon.

      So far so good

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have used these skins a couple of times, but so far I really like them. I have gone out on a really cold and warm day and both times they were excellent. Easy on and off, and they pack well too.

      Great Skins!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The glue is wonderful. The skins are very easy to apply to the skis. More so than any other brand I’ve tried. No issues with them coming off unless intentionally removed which is also easier than other brands I’ve tried. The cutting tool saves a step versus other tools, cuts back the skin just inside the edge of the ski. No cutting to length required. Instead of wax paper backing they came with a reusable plastic backer eliminating the need for buying a skin saver. They glide better than typical nylon free ride type skins. A definite buy again product for my next pair of skis. Thank you Switzerland!

      My favorite piece of equipment

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The glide on these might be the single best thing you can do for your ski touring.
I'm on pair 3, and couldn't be happier. They glide smooth, grip incredibly well, are so light, and pack down to nothing.

      Flimsy tip attachment

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The skins themselves are good but the tip attachment falls apart easily and the pieces disappear into the snow. I'm now shopping for new ways to attach the tips.
