- Q & A
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
I had to return these just based on the sizing. Does anyone else have this problem? These ran quite small! Especially in the thigh, maybe it is the fit though. Gave them to a friend instead who is obsessed with them now and uses them often for work or dressing them up.
Pants Made Right
- Size Bought: 30x30
USA made with every attention to detail and fit. Every time I wear Carhartt's I dream of having the same quality material in a fitted attractive pant. These are the answer! They look so good you probably won't want to get grease on them, but they seem like they would handle a fair bit of grim. These are truly fitted with a very slight taper. They are as true to size as I could imagine. I'm very satisfied with these pants and hope to see some more color variations in this style.
Work Pants With Style
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 30x30
I would describe these pants like someone combined a pair of Carhartts and a pair of Hudson jeans into one pair. They have the button fly and fit of a Hudson plus the rough cotton feel/stiffness of the traditional Carhartt jacket or pants.
In terms of the fit I have an athletic body type and thick legs. These pants have a perfect amount of room in the seat and the thighs (skinny jean look without feeling like i'm wearing a size to small) and a slight boot cut near the cuff. When I first tried them on they where tighter in the waist and felt like they had been starched; but as I broke them in they are starting to feel softer and looser.
I prefer buying American made jeans. In my experience the fit and finish is better plus the carbon footprint is lower as well. I would totally recommend these pants to a friend and now i'm on the lookout for a dark blue pair. These are my new favorite pants under 100 bucks.
Nice but super tight
Most would consider me pretty skinny at 6'4" and 190lbs but these are just too tight for me in the seat and thighs. I know they called them skinny but they are super skinny and the fabric is stiff and has no give. It was really challenging to get them on and walk around in them. I couldnt put a wallet in my pocket. My waist sizing was correct and I am hoping they give a little but its going to be a long break in period. It was a bit of a gamble picking these up and it didnt pay off. I live in AUS so exchanging isnt really an affordable option. You win some and lose some. I would only recommend for really skinny people. The fabric is really nice and in hindsight I wish I chose the regular fit ones.
