    Caps for everyone.

While caps are best known as a Euro-cool style essential on the road, POC is insistent that they're useful for everyone not matter the terrain. As such, the Resistance Pro XC Cap borrows that classic cycling cap silhouette and gains some technical features to better match trail riders' needs. Extra ventilation dots the sides and rear of the cap to provide much appreciated cooling whether you're rocking drops or grinding climbs, while a touch of stretch in the fabric ensures your dome stays as comfortable as it is cool through all-day epics on your favorite trails.

    • A cycling cap for off-road adventures
    • Soft fabric has just the right amount of comfortable stretch
    • Streamlined design tucks easily under a helmet
    • Item #POC009N

Bought it for road, love it for MTB, too

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I actually bought it for road biking. I'm a long time mountain biker, first time road biker. I find that I love it for both purposes.

The visors on MTB helmets are generally useless when it comes to blocking the sun. This visor has actually been a major help riding at sunset.

The fabric in the back is a touch on the bulky side where the elastic is sewn in, so I just make sure I line it up below the back of my helmet, and it's all good.

As far as temps go, I haven't used it in mid-summer desert heat, but for late summer, and a cool fall, it has been perfect so far.
