Design Flaw on neck buckle during crash!
- I've put it through the wringer
I am seasoned skier and mountaineer for the last 20 years. And using a POC helmet i had a serious accident where the neck buckle of my POC helmet fail. By this i had a unvoluntare release of my helmet causing me serious injuries. I cant be more disapointed about not only this helmet, but also this brand. I had no answer, no support... after several emails. I strongly recomed anyone that is serious about their head to buy another brand with a better buckle system., The one used in POC is cheap and lacks of desing. POC is mostly about fashion. I know that is one in a million chance to have an hyperflexion of the neck throwards your chest and cause excess preasure of the buckle and having release of the helmet. BUT, i think nowadays there is a HUGE offer of helmets and people should care about having the one that will remain attached to their head. The buckle is the one used in this helmet. Be SAFE

love this helmet
- I've used it several times
My 17 mo old loves wearing this helmet. It's his favorite "hat". I was worried about getting one that would be comfortable and keep him warm and this seems to cover both. And he's easy to spot in the snow. As much as I love it, the screw on the back goggle clip came off. We were able to screw it back in but it's a bummer that we had to deal with it.

Great fit for my 6 year old and I can spot him anywhere on the hill! The dial on the back is very handy to tighten it up. His goggles stay put in the clip, on or off his face.

Excellent Kids Helmet
- I've put it through the wringer
Got this for my 3 year old who is a little ripper...As a coach and racer I was looking for a solid helmet option for my little girl. There aren't many choices when it comes to this small sizing. thankfully POC came out with this soft eared model (she didn't like the solid over ear model) and has loads of adjustability so a perfect fit is easily achievable . The fit is better then the Giro we had her in and it is far more solid (POC Quality) than all others I looked at. The Neon Pink definitely adds to the visibility factor and hopefully keeps the joeys away from your kid.

Worth every cent
Great helmet for a new downhiller. POC quality throughout. Great fit, strap not too tight for the tykes. Light but very sturdy- super bright so old dad can spot her quickly. Ear pads pop out, liner velcroed in for easy wash. Easy sizing adjustment in rear.

Great Kids Helmet
Great helmet for my kid. Safe and can't miss him on the slopes. Don't get one for yours otherwise I'll mistake your kid for mine. Only wish it came with the LED light and vest the way the non-light Pocito does.

Got this helmet for my 5 year old. He loves it as do I. It's easy to spot on the slopes and by all accounts seems to be especially safe. Only downside is that the chin strap won't come anywhere near his chin. Thought that might be because he has a big head for a little kid. My 9 year old nephew tried it on and had the same issue.

Because this helmet is designed for greater protection at lower speeds, I need to know if it's still protective at higher speeds too?

The helmets are adjustable using a dial in the back of the helmet. It should be adjustable to work for a few seasons.

The 9 year old may need an adult helmet.
