Essential Road Jersey
Setting yourself up with the essentials is key when you're rolling into each cycling season. That could just mean checking that last year's chamois are still in good condition for another season, but we like to think it's an excuse to expand the wardrobe a bit, with piece that are reliable for everyday rides, like POC's Essential Road Jersey. Part of the Essential Road Collection, this jersey offers comfort with a performance-ready feel for heading out for your after-work laps, weekend coffee jaunts, and hill sprints alike. It is crafted from a breathable, and high-wicking polyester designed to actively move moisture away from your skin and keep you comfortable whether its a warm spring day, cool fall evening, or scorching summer afternoon. A full-length zipper adorns the front for quick heat escape on long climbs, and deep back pockets store your spare tube, gels, and multi-tool. A separate zippered pocket offers a secure spot to stash your phone for the ride.

- Q & A
Not too bad!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I have only gotten a few rides in with this jersey, but so far it has been generally pretty good. It is light and breathable, which is a plus. The main issue that I run into with this jersey is the pockets are super stretchy, which is typically something I like, but in this case, they didn't feel very stable when I was carrying stuff. They would always shift to one side, or it felt like the items would fall out easily. So when I am riding with nothing in my pockets, I loved the jersey, but once I start having to carry stuff for longer rides, then I would find myself using other jerseys. Overall, the fit is alright. It is more fitted than a tradition club fit jersey, but not quite as fitted as I prefer.
