A classic cycling cap is as timeless as it is functional. POC's take adds some subtle yet significant details yielding a hat worthy of its name: the Essential Road Cap. Most cycling caps are constructed from 100% cotton which, when saturated with sweat, become a dripping mess. The Essential is a cotton/polyester blend so when paired under a helmet it wicks perspiration better and dries quickly making it ideal for keeping your head warmer on cooler spring days, as well as keeping sweat out of your eyes on long summer climbs. The small brim protects eyes from the setting sun and rain while the reflective logo helps you stay visible in these conditions. The elastic rear allows one size to fit most.

I got an XL and it?s really tight on my head. Also it doesn?t really fit well with my ventral lite helmet.

Finally a cycling cap for large heads

Tried on a bunch of 'one size' cycling caps and they all felt tight. The one I purchased in exasperation obviously fit on my head (after all, I bought it!) but over a longer ride it ended up feeling tight and uncomfortable. So... I looked extensively for a cycling cap that was available specifically in a size 'Large' and the POC was the only one I found, Fits my large noggin really well. With no sweat band on the front I was concerned it would become uncomfortable, but so far I have found it very comfortable for as long as I want to wear it. Impressed!
