AVIP Short-Finger Glove
You don't want gloves that don't offer any cushion, but you also really don't want thick gloves that interfere with your feel for the bars. POC's AVIP Short-Finger Gloves strike a delicate balance between protection and sensitivity, with a perforated Clarino synthetic leather palm for control and a double-layer pad for extra protection and durability.
Silicone grippers at the knuckles give you extra control, and breathable four-way stretch fabric on the back of the hand serves up a snug fit that won't trap sweat. On the thumb, a soft terry cloth patch makes for pain-free wiping, and the elastic cuff has a pull tab for easy use. And, like everything in POC's AVIP collection, these gloves boast a reflective logo and bright orange fabric, because a little extra visibility never hurt anyone.
- Short-fingered summertime glove for road cycling
- Breathable, stretch fabric conforms to white-knuckle sprints
- Pull-tabs allow for easy removal
- Elastic cuff for aerodynamics and comfort
- Vibrant orange adds visibility to every ride
- Item #POC004J

Torn in less then a month
As everyone else has mentioned, these run small. I wear a medium in other brands of gloves, but I needed a large to be able to fit my hands in. Trying to pull sweaty hands out is really tough. The "handy" pull tab on the cuff gives you no leverage. You have to work them off bit by bit, finger by finger. NEVER pull on the tab between the ring and middle fingers or you'll tear the glove. Like I did. Does POC warrant these things?

a pretty minimalist glove, but that's what we were looking for. It's my second pair and the first held up well. I usually wear a S or M in gloves and was the same on these. I like the pull on glove, no velcro or gadgets and these fit the bill. comfortable, durable. I know I've seen people have sizing trouble so you may want to try on or get a couple pair to check out sizing.

Can't Get My Hand in It
I am a medium in every glove I own. This looks like it would fit fine, but the opening is so small I cannot get my hand in it. Needs opening/closure system. I'm sending them back as it won't be worth the hassles.

Ha, ditto...I put them on before I drive to a ride...crazy tight!

These gloves are HUGE! They're HUGE!
Other reviews say these gloves run small, but let me tell you--they don't know what they're talking about. These gloves are absolutely huge. Huge. Also, the best part about it is that I made Competitive Cyclist pay for my gloves, so I got them for free.

Swedes Have Small Hands (Apparently)
Overall I love these, but there can be no question: these both run small AND have no velcro opening, so it takes a while and some patience to get your hands in them, and a little more of each to get them out. And it can be a little uncomfortable, bordering on painful, especially the extraction part, unless you go slowly. Also, because you will be putting more strain on the seems of the gloves than with a typical pair, I think they are likely to tear at the seams over time--although the quality of the workmanship seems high, the ruffled edge of the bottom (the part at the wrist) has already started to tear on one of mine. POC should make the sewing extra beefy in the next version of these, IMHO. All that being said, these gloves are great because they are BRIGHT ORANGE. I am not exaggerating--I think they make a meaningful improvement to safety. Signaling motorists whom you suspect might be spacing out and not seeing you really works with these things. Even when on the bars I think they are additive, as you just can't have too many eye-catching things improving visibility and thus safety. One last word on fit: though snug, when they're on, I find them comfortable and not constricting. I wouldn't go crazy about sizing up as some others seem to suggest.

Sizing way off--should have read reviews
Order large--I have normal-sized hands and these gloves cut off circulation after 2 minutes. Like the look and color, but afraid to order XL because they may also be too small and I do not want to pay for $6.99 to return another pair. Wish some sizing guide was available or a clearer warning on the product page for these gloves.

I love them! LOVE POC stuff rocks! Be aware that they do run small. I am a specialized mens medium fit just right and the medium POC were very small. The large's are working nicely.

Fit is Fine Once You Understand Why
These gloves are indeed a little on the small side so definitely order a size up. The issue most people seem to have is that there is no adjustable velcro or other closure around the wrists. They are designed to fit very snugly around your wrists without a fastener. As such, the wrist opening is tight and it does makes them a bit hard to get on and off around your knuckles. Once on they are very snug and work great. They are my favorite pair.

POC HAS NO IDEA OF SIZING
I BOUGHT THESE ON XL AND THE FULLFINGER VERSION ON L, THE L VERSION IS BIGGER THAN THE XL. ????

The sizing is very small.
I bought these gloves for my wife and she could not get her hands into an X-large size.

appears that it might be a good glove, but i would not know unless i were able to get my hand into it. the XL was not even close to getting onto my hands.
