I didn't realize "softbottle" is a euphemism for "plastic bag!" I was really expecting more of a, um, bottle, you know, something that actually holds its shape. This thing is awkward to handle, not sturdy at all. Looks like an IV drip bag. I have a rare disorder whereby I have to drink a lot of water throughout the day to keep my blood pressure up. I have found 33oz to be the perfect size, in general. This is not something designed for heavy usage. $10 down the drain!

Took 2x 1L of these bottles to 4day 3 night backpacking. It works great. 1 bottle in each side pocket of my backpack.

I love these soft bottles as they always pack into a backpack really well since they're nice and pliable, fitting into the nooks and crannies of your pack with ease. In my experience they don't hold up to long term use/abuse though; eventually they always start to leak. I keep buying them though!

Pocket bottle.

You could go in for a water break every hour or two and waste a tiny, crappy, single-use plastic cup, or you could just keep this in your pocket on ski days. Real light, real packable, and real convenient.

This is a great idea if you want to have some water while skiing in the resort. I also use it on quick tours.

This is a pretty handy little water bottle. I use it for resort skiing or light tours. When skiing the resort I keep it in my pocket and fill it up when I duck into a lodge for a break. The half liter is enough for a short tour or side country lap without taking up a ton of room in the pack.

Not a bad bottle

It's a good bottle to use, but it runs out pretty quickly (depends how you drink). it's good, but not totally worth it.

Simple, light

Great way to carry a liter of water. The material is durable enough to take a bit of a beating. Cap is solid, I haven't had any issues with leaking. I use this primarily for splitboard tours, but it's a great bottle for anything if you're trying to stay light.

Good Water bottle

I enjoy using this, especially with how easy it is to pack up and take with you. Recommended for camping as it is easy to make it very small.

Cap not secure

There aren't enough threads to keep the cap on tightly. I lost the cap before I could even fill it up with water-- which I suppose is a good thing, so I didn't get water everywhere.

Mini reservoir kit

Pros: Made in the USA Super lightweight Needed only a liter of water to carry to be fast and lite Converts easily to a hydro tube which I currently am running No plastic taste The price tag Rolls up and stows away nicely Good for edc bags too The cons: Needs something to hold it up if converting to hydro tube. Sags and getting water becomes a real chore. And it always has a tendency to fall over in my pack. -I took this with me on the manitou incline and red rock canyon open space and ran perfectly as a tube set up. Was just the right amount of h2o and had some left over in the car. I do use this set up everyday though. I'm kinda interested in buying the big bite valve though, flow is okay but could be better. The only two flaws is what merits this product four stars.
