DW-Link Protector

While DW-link creates one of our favorite pedaling platforms, it is admittedly hard to clean. The lower link has a knack for attracting mud when rides get a little wet, or worse — rocks that can damage paint and the linkage. Keep your DW-link protected with the Pivot's DW-Link Protector. Its easy to install by folding into a "U", removing the paper backing from the two side tabs (make sure to leave the center rectangle in tact), and sliding it into position to fix across the linkage. This little fender of sorts will keep rocks, dirt, and debris from making its way into your linkage, making cleaning and maintenance easier, and keeping the finish on your bike in like-new condition for longer.

  • A handy protector for keeping your linkage clean
  • Shields your lower link from rocks and mud
  • Easy to install, and inexpensive to maintain
  • Helps protect the finish on your lower link
  • Item #PIV006O

Got this as a spare. Great idea

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Was pretty worried about rocks getting in the lower linkage. My luck would have a frame-destroyer in there first ride. Luckily, Pivot ships the bikes with these, so I just grabbed this one as a backup in case the other one wears/tears thru.

The anti coffee grinder

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The suspension linkage on a pivot has been called by a few the coffee grinder for its miraculous ability to take the small pebble and grind it up while your riding and leave a nice ground down spot in your paint. While the damage isn't frame compromising it is really annoying to have your sweet frame cut up. Easy install and its all you need to fix your problem. I'd get a few just in case you go on a rough ride and need a spare.

Keep The Dirt Out

I lost my original cover off of my pivot. Replacements are inexpensive and keep the dirt and rocks out of the linkage and off the paint.

Simple Solution

Simple solution to keep gunk out of your lower link on Pivot bikes. Has held up well so far to dirt and grim without losing its adhesive. Pretty good option for using on other brands of bikes as well if you're trying to keep rocks and grime out of the linkage area.
