The DSP Sport Beacon is equipped with all the features necessary for a fast, accurate search, but remains impressively user-friendly, which is ideal for newcomers to the backcountry looking to practice their skills. Three antennas promote accuracy in a search scenario, and a 50 meter circular range picks up a signal in a large area. A mark function helps in multiple burial situations so your partners can start digging for one victim as you move on to search for the next. Three alkaline AAA batteries you get 200 hours of life in search mode, and the included harness pouch lets you easily access the beacon during practice or emergency situations.

Next up in the package is the Tour Shovel, featuring a durable aluminum blade for efficient digging, even in hard avalanche debris. The blade has a smooth bottom so you can shave down clean walls when you're digging snowpits, and its shaft is extendable so you can move as much snow as possible while conserving energy. When it's not in use, the shovel seamlessly collapses to fit smoothly into your pack.

The included 260cm probe is made out of durable aluminum with high-visibility 1-centimeter measurement markings for accurate snow-depth readings.
