Protect your eyes during the worst circumstances.

Whether you're in a snowstorm with gigantic flakes or your partner is dropping icicles on you while you belay, the Petzl Vizion Face Shield will ensure your pretty face doesn't get torn up. With three tilt positions, this guard can be set in a visor position, lowered to cover your face, or raised out of the way completely if there is no need. No matter where the shattered ice or spindrift is coming from, this shield will make sure your face remains a moneymaker.

    • Compatible with Petzl's Meteor 3, Elios, and Sirocco helmets
    • Three tilt positions ensure you're protected from anything above or in front of you, or it folds flat against the helmet when unneeded

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This thing is the best piece of ice gear I've purchased. I used to wear sunglasses, or shooting glasses with clear glasses, and I'd still catch ice and tools.

This is easy to use, doesn't fog, you forget you're wearing it, and it *works*. I had a tool pop while drytooling, hit me right in the face, and I didn't really feel anything thanks to the visor.

Get it now and thank me later.

Would this work for canyoneering for keeping water out of your eyes when you're rappelling under a waterfall? Would it be sturdy enough to repel moderate flow?
