- Q & A
Best headlamp I have ever bought
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I bought my Petzl back in 2005. It was pricey back then but it has paid for itself many times over. I still have to original battery and it charges and lasts like it was brand new. I have done just about every thing with it from 24 hours of Moab, more trail races/runs than I can remember and even more hikes. The low setting is great for hiking and light will last a long time. Has a much shorter life on the brightest setting but the light is so bright you can do anything like you are in the bright sun. No other headlamp on the market gives you more light. I have never used a T2000 but if you Google it you will see more scam warns than positives. Least you know Petzl is not trying to sell you junk.
No Problem w/ Battery (Yet)
The Rush is easy to use, super light and bright! Awesome for night skiing excursions. 3+ hours on 370 and then a solid 1:20 on 700 and no problem last night. I just gotta hope the batteries lifespan is better than the other comments suggest.
