Croll L Chest Ascender

Whether you're ascending a fixed line on a big wall or just hanging out on toprope to snap some photos of your friends, Petzl's Croll L keeps you secure on the rope. The aluminum body reduces the overall weight of the rope, yet is still strong enough to meet European safety standards and certifications. A wide rope channel allows for ropes between 8 and 13mm to be used with the ascender, and the toothed camming unit securely holds the rope in place and easily ascends the rope while moving upward. The nylon safety catch can be used to hold the camming unit open when placing a rope inside the ascender, and locks the device in place when the rope has been placed inside the channel so you can safely ascend fixed lines.
