    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

When you first use it, it might not seem like a lot of chalk is coming through the bag/sock, but mash it around a bit and suddenly you have yourself a great little chalk ball. It leaves your fingers properly chalked and your hands never come out of your bag looking like you dipped them in paint. After using it once (maybe twice, tops) you just have to swipe it and you're good to go for your next handful (ha) of moves. As an added bonus, when you unceremoniously fall off the wall and land on your chalk bag, it won't spew out a chalk fart of preposterous proportions.

    So far, so good

I tend to spill chalk everywhere, so I thought this may help me and indeed it did. At first use, I couldn't get much out, but after a couple grabs, it was working great. I get just the right amount of chalk on my hands, and I like the chalk too. It's much better than reaching into a bag with loose chalk and getting all the chalk under my finger nails. So far, so good!

When loose chalk wont cut it

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Normally I am a loose chalk kind of guy but sometimes that can get a little messy if you are not careful. When bagged chalk is what you are reaching for you need the finest most powderyest chalk to excrete from the surface of the sack so your meaty digits can get that nice even coating to help you power through the crux.

    Them chalk balls, doh.

Won one of these little dudes with my Sakapoche chalk bags, and can't complain. It's been a week and a half and my ball is almost depleted. Comes out well, which is always a good thing. Nothing worse than wrestling with a sock-looking ball in public, only to end up with sad-looking chalk hands.

    Is this chalk ball refillable?
