The best choice for those on a budget

I prefer this spike protector over the BD due to its simplicity relative to the awkward tie-off on the BD spike protector, but I prefer the BD pick and adze protector over this pick protector simply because the BD covers the adze too (granted that the adze is far less problematic to leave uncovered than the pick and spike). That said, this pick protectors is perfectly functional. If you're on a budget then spend $10 on this one; if you can afford another $10 then get both this one for the spike protector and spend another $10 for the BD pick and adze protector.

I got these for my camp x-alls and they fit great. Should keep my delicate gear in tact when hiking or traveling

Wanted to protect my axes / gear for an upcoming flight. I think I prefer these to my BD protectors, but we will see how time treats them. I like the simplicity/minimalist nature of these compared to the BD offering.
