Solid!

Sharp picks to go swing at the ice. I Use nomics with these and they come together to make a really good strike angle. Easy to swap out too

Liked the old Quark pick better

These picks work fairly decent for pure ice. But I found the older model Quark did not shatter ice the way these do on cold days. Just like any specialty forged steel piece, they are a bit expensive but are durable and get the job done.

My husband and I both ice climb and mix climb. We have used these picks for both sports on the Nomic and the Quarks. When new, this pick can do most anything and is phenomenal on steep, technical ice as well as launching to a pocket that you hope will be good. These do wear down like any ice and mix gear, but hold their point and sharpen well.

Okay
These work well if you are more focused on mixed. They shatter ice easily due to the larger than 3mm tip that Petzl claims it to be. For waterfall ice Taper the pick down to a true 3mm with a sharp file, reshape the first inch or so of teeth so they hook to the rear and send it.

Petzl makes the best picks
I used these picks last season and always had solid bomber sticks. Except when the ice was chunking to dinner plates, these stuck great on the first swing.

The older version fit the Cascade picks, I think they changed in 2010. From what I've heard it doesn't sound like it..

Reid, I'm not sure what version of the Quarks you have but this item fits the following: QUARK ice axes (U19 M2, U19 P2) NOMIC (U21, U21 2, U21 3) ERGO (U22, U22 2) If this doesn't help let me know and I'll keep researching for you. -Jared
