Stays on your Foot
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
You can get away with using webbing or a sling on your foot when ascending up a rope, but your foot always ends up coming out. With the footape it has an elastic band at the top of the loop to help hold onto your foot. I use 2 of these, one on each foot with my handled ascenders to be able to ascend a rope like a ladder! It's faster and less fatiguing than standing up on one leg and sitting in your harness. I highly suggest getting 2 if you ascend a lot!

Tree climbing made easy!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I really like this foot strap. It's lightweight, strong, and easy to use. Combine this with a Grigri and hand ascender and you'll be climbing trees like a pro. So far, it's held up to all the abuse I've put it through, a testament to it's quality. I like how easy it is to adjust the foot loop. Initially, I thought it'd be kind of painful on the feet, but boy was I ever wrong! It provides solid support for your push leg and is super comfortable. Definitely a great tool for any inspiring recreational arborist like myself.
