Bindi Ultralight Headlamp
You'll never have an excuse to leave your light at home when you have the Petzl Bindi Ultralight Headlamp. This versatile headlamp weighs in at a staggeringly light 35 grams, has a variety of settings to suit it to any adventures, and fits easily in your pocket. The standard headlamp's bulky strap that loses its elasticity after a while is nowhere to be found on the Bindi; instead, you'll find an adjustable cord that not only significantly reduces weight and bulk, but also ensures an easy-to-adjust fit and allows you to wear it around your neck.
Three different white light modes give you the right lighting for different situations, from navigating dark trails and setting up your tent to doing a little light reading before bed, and the red light lets you read maps without blinding your trekking partner. IPX4 water-resistance means you won't have to worry about passing showers or dropping your lamp in a small brook. It also sports a USB-rechargeable battery that makes it easy to keep juiced for your daily training runs. So whether you're headed on a backpacking trip where every ounce counts or going on a twilight trail run, the Bindi has your back.

Super bright, small, keeps a charge.
This was so great I had to buy a second one after loosing the first. I had the same headlamp since 2012 and there have been significant technological improvements.

Surprisingly comfortable despite appearances. Best minimalist headlamp out there.

Very light headlamp, a bit uncomfortable
The headlamp is super light and small. It's great for running, including the bungee strap. However, after a long while it starts to hurt your forehead a bit. Nothing terrible though.

Versatile Ultralight Headlamp
I've been using the Bindi for most of the summer bike commuting, hiking, and running. It's my new go-to headlamp. It weighs an ounce, fits great on my head or around my handlebars and is plenty bright for commuting on roads/paths or on trail for a run or hike . It's so small, you don't even know it's in your pack and charges up in an hour or two and lasts me several outings before I think about charging it again.

Great Things Come in Small Packages
This has become my go-to headlamp for 90% of my activities. First it weighs 1oz. I have no excuse to not throw it in my daypack, bike, or touring pack. It is the size of an emergency light but performs at a comparable level to a modern full-sized headlamp, all be it for a shorter duration. The light is bright enough for trail running, is comfortable and does not move on the head, is rechargeable and waterproof. I would bring this light on a thru-hike, and I use it for all of my overnight trips. Polite red mode is a nice touch on such a small light, for use in the tent. Unless you are out at night for a prolonged period of time, or engaging in active route finding this light is more than adequate for the job. I've had mine for four months now of frequent use and it has held up great, still holds a charge as if it were new, and has even survived a couple of downpours. I ran it out of battery once on a long night hike, but was still able to make it down using the emergency mode. The only downside is it is hard to find because it is so small!
