The season of nostalgia.
When the sun begins taking its time coming up on your morning rides and you notice a new chill in the air, it's a signal that autumnal cycling is right around the corner. Relentless sun and oppressive heat will soon be replaced by crisp, bright mornings and misty, cool afternoons, made all the better by a warm cup of tea or coffee post-ride. You can't do fall riding right without a baselayer, of course, so to make sure you're prepared for the season of nostalgia, we'd recommend you invest in the Pearl Izumi Transfer Wool Cycling Baselayer in a hurry. Merino wool fibers blended with ever-efficient polyester work to regulate your body temperature as you heat up in the crisp air. The Transfer comes with a contoured fit, which allows it to rapidly pull moisture away from your skin while it lightly insulates, and the rotated sleeve construction lends itself perfectly to long days stretched out in your drops.
- Baselayer takes your summer jerseys into the crisper months

Good for what it says it is

Might be good for a late Spring/early Fall baselayer but wholly inadequate as a Winter base layer. I have arm warmers so sleeves weren't the issue-it's very thin and when it wicks the cold blasts it even through a shell. I will probably just use it when a jersey isn't enough. I will be looking for a better winter base layer
