    Great training/club jersey!

The Pearl Izumi Tempo jersey is a great staple summer item, perfect for training rides and club outings. The fit is close to the body but not overly snug like many of its European styled cousins. Sizing is spot-on -- I'm 6'0", 185 lbs., with a 42" chest and large is just right. The Transfer fabric is perfectly weighted and has a soft feel similar to some Merino blends. I also appreciate the Torch Red color -- it's a bright orangey red which aids in visibility without having to wear garish fluorescents. The weak point in my mind is the zipper. Its a YKK, but all plastic and the bottom connection takes a little work.

Revising my review slightly. As a club jersey, this is probably a great option. But after a couple of rides I discovered that the fit is actually much looser than I had anticipated, almost like an athletic fitting workout t-shirt. The waist has minimal elastic and once you put anything in the rear pockets (like a phone and a couple of gels), it sags a bit. If you're looking for a loose fitting jersey and have a larger torso shape, this is likely a very good option. However, if you are looking for a more forgiving race cut jersey for fast training, this isn't quite it.

I just got this jersey. I agree. The fabric has an amazing feel. But the zipper was a bit stiff and hard and a bit fussy to get it to zip up.
