King of the mountain.
Blending the lines between dedicated trail and cross-country shorts, the Pearl Izumi Men's Summit Short lets you fly over your favorite stretches of trail without soaking up passing showers. Treated with a water-shedding DWR coating, the Summit is a great choice for variable weather patterns often encountered in alpine environments. Its 4-way stretch ripstop stands up to regular abuse without restricting motion on the trail. And because it features a generous relaxed cut, you'll find there's plenty of room to move when you're dodging trail obstacles and negotiating tight switchbacks.

Baggin' the bibs
Coming from the roadie world, I always wore bibs and zipper jerseys for mountain biking. These are my first real "baggies" and I love them. They are not very baggy and that's a plus for me. I wear a Pearl Izumi liner underneath and get all the protection and comfort I need. Fits true to their sizing chart. Buy 4 pairs so you don't have to do laundry every day :)
Longer Than Expected
- Size Bought: L
- Height: 5'9"
- Weight: 180lbs
Typical Pearl Izumi quality and fit, just longer inseam than I thought. (Perhaps I didn't read the 14in inseam part...) Anyway, the length does give some extra knee coverage. Fabric is nice, light enough, and stretchy, with 2 good pockets.
high quality, fit well, do run slightly long

A little longer than I am used to, but I am digging them. The material is super soft and light weight. Very comfortable shorts

This short doesn't come with a liner with a chamois
How does the inner waist adjustment work? There is no photos of it.
