Quest Short-Sleeve Jersey

Moving comfort to the forefront of design influence, the Pearl Izumi Men's Quest Jersey forgoes flashy graphics and over-the-top tech in favor of clean, uncluttered aesthetics and function-driven details. Select Transfer fabric actively pulls moisture off your body, ensuring proper thermo-regulation when you're riding under the hot summer sun. And unlike race-specific jerseys, the Quest's semi-fitted cut is not overly restrictive or skin-tight. The 10-inch front zip ventilates your upper body when you're suffering on steep climbs, while the elasticized hem keeps the jersey from flapping at high speeds or riding up when you're dropped over the bars. Other key features include three rear pockets for ample storage of energy gels and extra layers, as well as reflective elements for boosted visibility after dark.

  • Top-tier performance meets fresh style on the road
  • Select Transfer fabric wicks sweat and breathes well
  • Form-fitting design keeps performance fibers close
  • Front zip helps you dump excess heat quickly
  • Rear pockets offer the classic storage for essentials
  • Item #PLZ00QG

I got this jersey for two main reasons; Pearl Izumi’s reputation for quality and it’s hi-vis color for safe road biking. It’s very comfortable and definitely hi-vis, looks great too.

The sizing issue is real!

Purchased a medium jersey in Black. Was skeptical about the sizing issue some reviewers had posted. When I pulled the jersey out of its packaging, I thought I’d made a mistake. Nope. The medium fit like the large jerseys I’ve ordered in the past. Definitely size down if you purchase one of the jerseys.

Loose Fit -- And That's OK

Fit:
True to size

XXL

I'm 6'1" and 235, so for obvious reasons, I am no longer interested in race fit jerseys. The fabric seems heavier than my old kits, but it breathes and is comfortable in the heat. I wear black or screaming yellow. Still rocking the old sponsor covered bibs but this jersey fits my current form and it is priced right. Recommended.

I like it. I ordered a medium and it fits well. For being the cheapest Pearl Izumi jersey, I'd say it's worth it. Been on dozens of rides with it, past 50 miles on some. Stays comfortable.

The display image has a two tone color- black and “screaming yellow”. The jersey arrived single tone - screaming yellow. Size/fit- I’m a big dude.. 6’4 265lb I always use xxxl but this jersey is waaaaay too big. Maybe get a XL if you use XXXl?

Big and Saggy

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

XXL

230 lbs

I bought an XXL as I typically wear that size in bike gear (6'2" 230). I should have gone with my regular size for all other shirts (XL) as this is loose and the winds grabs it a bit and it's loose around the waist which is annoying. I'm keeping it to use as a layer once it gets cold here (SW FL). Well made and great material but definitely "true to size." I have another Pearl Jersey that is an XXL and fits great but I think even at the correct size it would not be very tight. It's not designed to fit that way I think, which is why I'm not exchanging it for a smaller size (it would still fit loose). Over some long-sleeve sport t-shirts I have it should be fine in the cold. Plus I'm all about Hi-Vis what with all the geezer snow birds on the roads down here.

Great semi-fitted jersey

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The quest jerseys are very good. I've had a couple of them in rotation for the past few years. They've held up great. I wear them in extreme heat and they do as well as anything else. The UPF 50 is essential for me. I'd definitely recommend these. Keep in mind, while they are fitted, they are not as form-fitting (i.e., skin-tight) as some other jerseys.

Nice material and fits well in the torso, but the arms are as baggy as a casual t-shirt. I'm a 40 chest and not particularly skinny (in other words, my biceps aren't huge but they're not twigs either).

Do these jerseys fit like they show in the images or looser?
