I love these bibs. They are a bit pricey but absolutely worth the $. I ordered the Pearl Pursuit Black to replace my Assos T.equipe S7 that developed tears on the seam where the chamois attached to the seat after maybe 1,500 miles of wear. Just for clarity, I am not downing Assos, I really like the Assos products I own, I simply had a problem with my bibs and replaced them with the Pearl Pursuit Black and think this is a better overall product for me. I have tried many different brands but continue to come back to Pearl. In short, everything about these bibs is comfortable and quality. The chamois is thick and supportive; the bib straps are wide and comfy; and the silicone leg gripper is smooth and uniform around the entire opening. I like it better than the silicone 'spots' I have had on other shorts though both seem to work well, I just like the uniformity offered on these bibs. I have never been disappointed with a Pearl product.
