Pursuit Attack Short

Beef up your cycling wardrobe without breaking the bank with the Pearl Izumi Men's Pursuit Attack Shorts. Boasting long-mile comfort, these shorts will get you through the ride in classic Pearl Izumi style.

The shorts are made from Select Transfer fabric, a breathable material that wicks moisture away in a flash to keep you cool and dry. Pearl Izumi uses an 8-panel design and flatlock seams to create a smooth, anatomical shape that moves with you to reduce the potential for irritating chafing and bunching. At the leg bands, silicone printing holds the hem securely in place without pinching.

The Pursuit Attack Shorts include Pearl Izumi's Select Pursuit 1:1 Chamois with medium density cushioning and a moisture-wicking backing to keep you dry and comfortable without adding unnecessary bulk. To cap things off, reflective elements help to increase visibility to motorists in low-light conditions.

  • Performance cycling short that won’t break the bank
  • Moisture-wicking fabric keeps you cool and dry when temps rise
  • Anatomical form fit is sleek and supports muscles
  • Brushed-top chamois provides soft comfort for racking up mileage
  • Silicone leg grippers keep shorts in place for a hassle-free ride
  • Flatlock seams reduce irritation for all-day comfort
  • Reflective elements make you more visible during twilight hours
  • Item #PLZ00CK

Great for shorter rides

I got two pairs of these to use as liners under my baggy shorts for mountain bike rides. Previously I was using a couple pairs of Pearl Izumi Elite PRO shorts. These have slightly less padding, but fit great and stay put. I appreciate the thigh grips and that the waist sits a bit higher. I haven't put them through a ride longer than 2 hours, but they've been great so far. Would buy again!

Not recommended for hot weather

Familiarity:

While these shorts fit well and are very comfortable for longer rides, I cannot recommend them for hot and high humidity weather as the color of the fabric changes when wet. The looks you get when wearing them are priceless though ;-) (see picture)

While

I guess you have to pour water on them to get them fully soaked, or just ride even harder.

I have two of these shorts I rotate between my 60-90 minute rides 3-4x/week. They’re probably a couple inches short on me (I have a 35” inseam), but they’re incredibly comfortable and durable and the fit has never bothered me. I’ve had these for about a year and they’re still going strong

Bike shorts were awesome. Haven't done that much long distance riding before, and was recommended I pick some lycra shorts. I don't regret it at all!! I didnt break them in beforehand, and they held up great! I love the sticky strips on the end of the legs so they dont ride up. Super comfy, adds that extra layer and cushion to make long distance riding not so terrible. Helps you enjoy the sunrises in the morning when you're able to walk Look at the bottom of my review for my contact info. Great short at a great price

You could spend hundreds of dollars on bike shorts with fancy names but when you catch them on a sharp edge while strutting around your local coffee shop before your ride and tear a hole in them you will not feel so bad wearing these shorts. They have great fit and a nice chamois that will get you through the toughest of hammerfests while not breaking the bank.
