Good basic bibs

I like these mid-range bibs, Izumi uses a good chamois for them and the strap cut is nice and wide. 3 stars for being literally “adequate” compared to their much more impressive pro line chamois being the gold standard as far as I’ve experienced, at a price to match. These are perfect for 1-2 hour weekly training rides.

Bummed as I wear PI bibs and thought I would get a new pair. The padding chaffed pretty badly and did not provide a lot of cushioning. The sizing and fit were fine as expected with PI. Also I purchased the navy - cannot hide the sweat marks on those!

For my somewhat aggressive but standard road position, I found these painful in the perineum area. The chamois was comfortable on the sit bones but seemed to thin out just a little too soon for me in the crotch, leaving that area achy. Maybe it's my anatomy but I have no such problems with my Sugoi RS Pro bibs.

I just started riding regularly 2 years ago. Getting started I got some cycling shorts from the local store. The quality was so-so and I often noticed a lot of chaffing even with chamois cream. Got a pair of these on sale. With the sale price this cost about the same as my "best" previous pair of shorts. Wow! World of difference. The shape and the quality of the chamois is a big step up and I've had zero chaffing. The bib keeps things in place and my ride is much more comfortable.

These were my first bib shorts as I am new to cycling and they are working out great! They fit great and are very comfortable. I am 5' 11" 180 lbs and I went with the medium.

Best shorts for your money

I have tried some other pairs of shorts and nothing fits my body better. I am 6'2" and slim muscular build but my thighs are kind of wide and these hug my legs very well. The chamois is not as "wide" as some others that I have, but the padding is thick and dense and if these fit you correctly they will hug your bum and give you no issues. These fit true to my size for me, so no need to do any European fit calculations. If you can find these on sale for $75.00 or less (that's what I paid for them) it's a steal.

Good Pair of Shorts for a Great Price

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The best pair of bib shorts I've seen so far at this price point. I've ridden 500+ miles in them so far, and they've been incredible comfortable and form fitting right out of the box. The only complaint is that I'm starting to see some wear at the points where the bib shorts contact the seat. It's nothing major, and it's about what you'd expect of shorts around this price point.

I'm sure there are nicer, more plush bibs for twice the price, but for $100 (or less - I have usually been able find them cheaper) These are awesome. They're comfortable and they breath great. I ended up getting three pairs.
