Why We Like The Pro Mesh Jersey

Pearl Izumi designed the Pro Mesh Jersey for high-output cycling in warm weather, and we like that it keeps us cool and comfortable throughout our ride. A combination of PRO Transfer Mesh and Pro Aero materials enhance airflow and aerodynamics where you need the most airflow around the core and aerodynamics in key leading-edge areas. Pearl Izumi's patented Speed Sleeve construction optimizes the fit in your on-bike stance, yet the Pro is built with stretchy material that allows a comfortable fit in any position. The full-length zipper locks into place, but can be easily unlocked and opened with a single hand for mid-ride ventilation.

not bad but nothing like what's pictured

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

What I got looks nothing like what's on the website. I thought I was getting a black/dark (hence the name Black Scrib) Aero jersey with a full zipper. Instead I got a white 1/2 zip jersey with light green and black accents. The material and quality seem good, but it's not what I wanted. It's also a large and for me at 5'9" 160, it runs too big, not form fitting. I gave 2 stars because it looks nothing like what was offered for sale on the website.

Fantastic

This really great jersey is made of a lightweight, breathable fabric that also appears to be durable. And the fit is great, because its pretty elastic and comfortable. I've ridden a few different brands of jersey, but keep coming back to pearl izumi. But for lightweight summer riding, all pearl izumi levels are not the same. The more entry level lines can be, relatively speaking, quite warm. The last few years my strategy has been finding the lighter weight Pro line on sale. Granted, its probably worth it to pay full price, but I'd rather get last year(s) line at discount.

Pearl but no one thinks its pearl

Really impressed with the overall feel of this jersey. I didn't expect such a light and breathable jersey to feel as robust as it does. A lot of summer weight and ultralight jerseys from a lot of "higher end" brands often times feel like they're days are numbered from the get go. One snag on a door handle or tree branch nd its over. That is not the case with this jersey at all! It's light, durable, and fits great! So in this situation, you get to pick all three, the cost is still a little steep but nothing is perfect!
