    Keep all 10.

Once your fingers reach the state of numbness in the cold, you have almost no hope of bringing them back to life on a ride. Which means, of course, that being able to shift and brake is no longer a guarantee. While making it back from a ride in grueling weather conditions is always an adventure, it's usually an adventure best enjoyed once we've made it back home and are retelling our tale around a warm fire.

To prevent having to endure cold misery routinely on the trails, bring along the Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Barrier WxB Glove next time you head out on a cold or wet day. Constructed to work as a shell, the waterproof glove works well at blocking water and insulating on its own on a rainy fall day, but it also is cut to allow for layering over a liner in colder conditions. A breathable fleece lining adds warmth, and the glove's articulated design ensures you'll have full freedom of movement to shift and brake, and full circulation to do it.

    • Ride without numb fingers in this versatile waterproof glove
    • Can be used as a shell or paired with a liner for colder temps
    • Waterproof exterior completely blocks rain and snow
    • Breathable fleece lining adds warmth without trapping heat
    • Hook-and-loop closure makes slipping gloves on and off easy
    • Articulated design preserves freedom of movement in the cockpit

Not quite as thick as I was expecting

Overall these are pretty nice and decently warm. The description made it seem like these were thicker and warmer than they actually are, but still nice.

Pretty excellent glove for cold rain

I live in Seattle and these are great for the winter here. It's not terribly cold but the rain can be pretty constant. I like having them as a shell over the liner gloves I wear so I can layer if it gets warmer or drier outside. They are a bit bulky, and not particularly warm on their own, but they get the job done. Honestly, I only notice the size of them when I have to root around from something in a pocket or my lock key.

    Quite rad!!

I got these back in mid December, and Salt Lake City has been lucky enough to have a very snowy January to try these out. I have been more than blown away with the warmth/comfort with them. They are super thin with no bulk to them at all, but offer excellent warmth with the fleece lined internal, and waterproof external shell. I can almost say that in mid 30's I still feel like they may be a tad warm, but great! Everything from cycling, to playing with my dog in the snow, and nothing has got past this glove to bring on the cold. Would recommend these to anyone looking. Sizing is pretty spot on. I wear a large in most gloves, and a large in these fits excellent. the added reflective bits/neon colors help with being noticed, and the color is quite awesome in my opinion.

    Great glove, if you're realistic

This is the best rain glove I've used, and I live in Vancouver where it rains all winter but temps are mild (usually 35-45F). They're on the cool side but I don't mind (my hands sweat a lot). Fit a bit large, but I often put liners inside. Like any waterproof breathable fabric, you do get a little clammy inside, but that's par for the course -- I just bring merino liners along and put them on when stopped mid-ride for coffee; problem solved.

    Unanswered Question

How much do these weigh? In a medium? Thinking they'd be great for a bikepacking trip and I'm counting every gram to find the gear that gives me the best bang for the buck! Thanks!

Is the fleece lining synthetic or wool? Also, is the leather synthetic or animal skin? Thanks for any help!
