Stay warmer, be happier.
Early morning can be the only time you have to train, but man, the air is frosty when the sun is still rising. Luckily, every problem has a solution, and pulling on the Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal Women's Cycling Tights is your answer to getting those base miles in. Made from fabrics that wick moisture, trap heat, and support muscles, the Elite Thermal Tights will keep you pedaling through the chilliest fall and spring weather.
The Elite Thermal tights use an anatomical eight-panel construction made from exclusive Elite Thermal Fleece fabric, which provides a combination of heat-trapping insulation and effective moisture transfer. To keep you riding comfortably, the tights feature Pearl's anatomically designed Elite 3D Women's chamois. The chamois uses variable density padding that's pre-shaped to enhance blood flow and breathable four-way stretch material to create an abrasion-free surface that conforms to the body and moves moisture away from your skin.
To ensure a quality fit, the Thermal tights feature an eight-panel construction that allows full leg articulation throughout cycling movements. The form-hugging fit also reduces the irritation that's typically caused by slack and bunched material from poor fit and fabric hold. To help hold everything in place, the tights use a silicone gripper at the ankle and a flattering, wide waistband. The tights are finished with 360 degree reflective accents for safer night riding.

- Q & A
Super warm super comfy
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Small
Although I've cycled for about 6 years these are my first pair of tights, because I'm just now getting into cold weather cycling and have a trip in Glacier in September when it might be nippy. I've used these in high 30s through low 60s and am in love! They're super warm and comfortable. I honestly could sleep in them. And I know they'll be comfy for walking around on our stops during my upcoming bike tour. The inside has a soft fleecey feel and the 3D chamois is superb--you don't even know that you're sitting on a saddle! I am just starting to log more hours on my bike and was able to bike over 20 miles two days in a row without even the slightest bit of tenderness on my tush. I needed new bike shorts and I only shopped ones with the same chamois as the ones in these tights. My legs aren't too affected by temperature, so when I wore these in the upper 30s, my torso, hands and feet were cold but my legs were not. When I wore these in the 60s, my torso and head were sweating but my legs were fine. These seem to block the wind but also allow your legs to breath. Love them! My body specs are included, however, I've got an abnormally long torso, short legs and no butt and hips, so the small was perfect. If you live in comfy, loose and stretchy yoga pants like me, be warned that these tights aren't loose and have a nice compression feel to them, which I absolutely love for biking. I'm stoked to keep wearing them!
Wife Loves Them

My wife was looking for tights she use for cold weather mountain bike rides and she was pumped to find these. She loves that they're super stretchy and comfortable, and she said that the chamois is good too. Although they run true to size, she said that the waist is a little on the big side.
How low of a temperature can you comfortably be with these pants?
I have used these down into the high 30s and was warm (and I am a chicken about the cold!).
