    Fewer tan lines.

Pearl Izumi employs a variety of silhouettes and fabrics across its extensive line of tri apparel, and with the ELITE Pursuit Tri SL Jersey, it sought to provide triathletes with the option of additional back and shoulder coverage. Using UPF 50+ ELITE Transfer In-R-Cool fabric, Pearl created a jersey that will better protect racers' exposed shoulders from the sun, with Coldblack technology added to the fabric to allow it to reflect, rather than absorb, UV rays. The jersey's construction is still form-fitting, but cut specifically for the demands of tri, so you won't sacrifice any freedom of movement for the additional coverage. As this is one of Pearl's top-end jersey's, it also receives two rear pockets for storing ride essentials, as well as a 10-inch zipper for adding ventilation.

Really nice tri/sleeveless bike jersey. Very comfortable for both running and biking. I recommend sizing up. I typically wear a medium in most shirts/jerseys-- what would be the equivalent of a 38-40 inch chest--and this certainly has the 'form/race' fit feel to it. So I went with a large and it fits perfectly.
