Calm, cool, and collected.
Pearl Izumi's all-new ELITE Pursuit Tri Short would make a hardworking addition to your training and racing wardrobe, with a classic construction and cooling fabrics that will work with you from the start of the swim to the podium and post-race picnic. Pearl is known for constructing its higher end pieces with ELITE In-R-Cool fabric, and using Coldblack technology, the fabric actually reflects, rather than absorbs, UV rays on the course while continuously drawing moisture away from your skin. Whether you're racing a sprint or a 70.3, you're going to experience significant temperature changes from when you get in the water to when you're in the middle of the run course, making In-R-Cool's adaptability and temperature management that much more beneficial.
Aside from the fabric construction, the ELITE Pursuit is crafted much like a traditional tri short, with a wide waistband, soft silicone leg grippers, and contoured, next-to-skin fit. Pearl includes its flexible, quick-drying TRI chamois to give you just enough cushioning on your ride leg, without you having to deal with soggy shorts after the swim or an awkward stride as you run.

Gave these as a gift, here is the feedback.
I'm not a big fan of tri shorts because of discomfort on long rides. I found that these fit really nicely, and will be great for shorter rides to the lake to swim. Looking forward to getting good use out of these.
Perfect for both racing and training
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size

These are hands down my favorite tri-shorts. Comfortable for each discipline or just for those long training rides. If you are new to triathlons, it may take some conditioning to get comfortable on the saddle but give it a couple rides. I now prefer them to cycling shorts and bibs.
