Lightweight, breathable weather barrier.
If you get a block from your house before you notice the dark clouds on the horizon, turn back and grab the Pearl Izumi Women’s Elite Barrier Jacket, just in case. This highly packable jacket provides windproof, water-resistant protection from the elements that makes it well worth the slight detour. A full-length draft flap along the zipper and elasticized hems seal in the warmth when you hit the edge of the cloud cover. Reflective piping and logos make you more visible to passing motorists as lighting conditions deteriorate. Now that you have the jacket on, tuck your chin into the microfleece collar and pedal like the wind to outrun the storm.

Love this jacket!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Got this jacket in fiery coral, gray and fuchsia. I would have gotten the green as well had they had my size. It's great when layering for bicycle riding in Arizona in the winter. Keeps me warm without feeling bulky and is a great fit. I'm fashion conscious even when I'm riding. LoL! I only get to use it for a few months during the year but it is a must for me.

Very thin, runs small
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
My husband purchased a showers pass coat for me and I felt he spent too much on it. I returned it and purchased this one because I only want it for walking/jogging on dark nights. The material is very thin and it runs small. I read another review and sized up 2 sizes which fit fine. I'm returning this and repurchasing the showers pass!
size up!
I almost always wear a small or medium top. But I am a rower with broad shoulders and Iâm a 34C. There is no way a medium fit me. Especially since rowing involves reaching out and pulling back. I wouldâve ripped outta this like the Hulk. I returned it for a large vest instead. The fabric is super thin so donât turn to this for warmth, just visibility.
