I am warm with only a tee shirt down to 20 degrees. My only gripe is that all the pockets are on the outside of the down so my phone gets cold and dies. Other than that this is an incredible jacket. I only use it for casual use but it’s very breathable and waterproof. Have had it three years now and still looks brand new.

Looks nice, a little short
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I typically fit fine into Pagatonia's technical outdoor clothing fine, but this lifestyle jacket runs shorter than their technical stuff. I'm 6'6", 200 lbs and typically wear a L, and this L fit my shoulders fine, but the length was too short for me, both on sleeves and body. I had hoped that, being a hip-length jacket, it'd work for me. I like the style of the jacket, and the fact that the hood is insulated and detachable for urban wear. I will note that the down insulation isn't super thick. Depending on your needs, layers, and how warm you run, it'd probably be fine for above 25 or 30 degrees, but I was hoping for something a little warmer based on the description.

I have had this for about two months. I live in a part of Virginia with winter temperatures usually in the 30s and 40s and some cold days down to 15 F. It's also very wet in the winter. I purchased this to replace an old NF Tri-climate because I realized that I never separated the shell and liner in that jacket and I already have a fleece that wear separately. I've also worn Patagonia stuff since the 1990s and never been disappointed. This jacket is definitely warm enough for winter in my area. With a sweater, it's comfortable down into the low 20s, maybe even colder. The big outer pockets are great for keys, phone, winter gloves, etc, leaving the lined hand pockets free of junk. Everything is solidly made, with an insulated hood and big sturdy windflap over the zipper. The wrists have buttons in two sizes to allow for a good fit with or without winter gloves. At 5'6" and 160lbs, the Medium is a great fit. If you live in Minnesota or Maine, you need a knee-length, down-filled parka. Anywhere warmer and this should be great.

I so want to love this jacket. It’s good looking and has all the features you want. That said, it’s not really all that warm for a parka. At best it probably has the same amount of insulation as a Nano Puff or Down Sweater, but with A better weather and wind protective exterior. It’s fine for temps in the 30s and 40s but not enough (without good layers underneath) for true cold. 6’0” 165lbs size Medium fits well albeit a hair large.

This jacket fits generous for layering. My husband ordered his usual size and loved the fit. The hood bothered him but it is removable. The outside of the jacket is a stiff fabric but it keeps out the wind and rain. He loves the pockets and the dual zipper. It kept him warm during the polar vortex in northern Michigan.

I loved this jacket from the moment I tried it on. It is not too bag and not too tight. The jacket also sits right at the waste. I feel this is a great jacket to tackle the winter here in New York City. It will keep you warm and dry. I definitely recommend this product.

hi, Cesar, how do the sleeves fit?

Does this jacket have regular side pockets? Not just the button ones?

I’m glad it got some waterproofing, but my biggest thing is wind proof. I’m outdoors for work and not that it gets super cold for months in SC but the wind is what I deal with the most. Is it fully wind proof? Thanks!
