Better fleece than women's version

Good quality but they didn't fit me. Bought these in size small hoping that they'd fit my size 4/6 woman's body (5 feet tall, 112 lbs, 28 waist). Too baggy everywhere but across the hips. I tried these because the fleece is so much thicker than the woman's version of the snap t pant.

These pants are hands down the most comfortable sweatpants i have ever worn the material is extremely soft, the fit around the waist is nice, but the only downside I had was that the pants were a tad long and a bit baggy. But that isnt enough to deter me from these pants they are excellent lounging pants in the winter time, i just roll them up a bit and go on with my day. But next pair i might size down just to see if there is any difference with length

These are must have Sweat Pants. Patagonia is always worth it! The price is high but you get what you pay for. These are the best post ski sweatpants I've ever owned! Wind resistant and cozy. It's like wearing a cloud. They run a bit large so expect a baggier sweat pant. The inner lining is so thick so you don't feel that they are against your skin. The back pocket is secure which can be an issue with other sweats. If you are on the fence I'd say dive into the comfort of these sweats!

I bought these in men's even though I am a woman, just because I love them so much I had to have them, and my boyfriend was sick of me stealing his. The synchilla fabric for pants?? Best lounging around the house pants I've ever had. Warm, super soft, extra cozy. The Patagonia quality you know, counts here too. I wish they had them in stock again, and in women's - the fit would be better if they were made for a women's shape!

2.5/5 Yes, the fleece is what you find on the jacket version and they ARE soft, and comfortable, but a few annoyances for dropping so much on a pair of fleece pants: Tiny pockets. If I put my phone in the side pocket, it will fall out 100% when I go to sit down. The back pocket is not deep enough to hold a larger wallet. The pockets were somewhat of a selling piece for me and have let me down. If you have a dog, these will be a magnet for pet hair. Yes this is not the pants fault per se, but a similar pair of flannel pants don't seem to pick up much at all compared to these. The fleece flattens/thins out a bit over time. I have had for about 4 months and worn multiple times per week at the end of the day. The fleece definitely loses some of it's magic, which is somewhat restored by washing, but not entirely.

these pants are awesome--great as a base layer under shell pants for skiing, or great just to wear around in the winter months. They are warm, comfortable, and durable. I LOVE SYNCHILLA. Wish they made more products in SYNCHILLA.

These pants. I gave them to my brother in law as a gift. but I might end up stealing them or buying a pair for myself. THEY ARE SO SOFT. If you aren't completely satisfied and comfortable in these i'd be stunned. He loves them and they are his go to lounge pants now.

My Synchilla Snap-T is my favorite article of clothing, period. So I had to get the pants as well. These are awesome, BUT the pockets are small....... Super small........ The back pocket is about 3" deep and the front pockets can comfortably conceal a chap stick. That's it. I think I am going to modify them to make the pockets deeper. The weight of the fleece is SO heavy and nice! They keep me warm in the Minnesota winter! The fit is terrific. I am 5'11" 155 LBS, I typically wear a 31x32 pant and I bought these in a medium. Patagonia Reps - Read the reviews on these pants. The consumers use these lounge pants as recreational pants too, whether that is walking a dog or skinning a mountain. They're warm, the fleece sheds snow, and they dry fast once wet. I wish the pockets on these pants were deeper, but that's my only complaint. It would also be sweet to have zippers on the front pockets too if they were deeper. That would knock these out of the park!

Super sweats!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just received my first two pairs of these, tried them on to check fit, and immediately ordered two more pairs. I wear a woman's medium so the men's small was an excellent fit. These are well made and will keep me toasty warm this winter. They are a substantial weight fleece-- a bit bulky but exactly what I've been looking for! I live in Wisconsin and winters are brutal. Thank you, Patagonia!

Great lounger

This is a casualwear offering from Patagonia, but it's my favorite pant for crisp autumn mornings in town. It's comfy, baggy in all the right ways, and warm. When I was first introduced to this pant by a friend of mine while in another country, I scoured all the internet's inventory and came up short. It was out of stock everywhere and in between seasons, so I was told I'd be waiting 12 months. I even checked the strangely stocked Patagonia outlet store in that country, just in case. A week or two later, Backcountry happened to have one single pair in my size and I nabbed it. One time this past winter, I headed out for a day of touring and forgot to pack my ski pants while wearing these at home. I decided to just go for it. While a little hot on the uphill they were adequate at shedding powder and staying dry given the nature of the activity (just a day trip ski tour with no active precipitation). The sizing is a bit weird because they're so baggy yet have elastic bands at the ankles, but they fit my waist well and the intentionally-designed bagginess adds to its charm.

Perfect pant

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The Patagonia Synchilla Snappants are my go to weekend pant, early morning dog walking pant, and general lounging around pant here in Park City during the winter. They've also stood up to Chicago winters, so they're up for anything. Let's be clear - these are not technical pants. They're a bit long, boxy, and heavy. But, they are probably the most comfortable article of clothing I own, and certainly one of the most well used. It's hard to express my love for these pants. I'm 5'10 and wear a medium.

These fit me in the waist well (bought the medium 5'11" 165lbs) but the legs are like any old crappy sweatpants, super baggy. Would have given it a 3 but they are practical warmth wise. Wish they tapered a bit like Patagoina's Baggies pants.

I've been looking for a good midlayer under my shells for really cold ski days. These fit the bill and are really comfortable. For me they are perfect over some thin merino long johns and under my non-insulated shells for anything below about 20°. Keeps me warm on the lift and just right on my run. They are really thick so I don't think they'd fit under a snug outer layer, but the ankles are trimmer and have elastic so they stay above your boots.

I tried both medium and large in these, but ended up keeping the large. The medium had perfect length, but was slight tight around my thighs and hips. I moved up to the large and found that It was perfect everywhere except for the length, which is slightly long. Overall, the pant has a great plush feel and whoever sees you in these will be instantly jealous that they aren't living as comfortably as you.

Ensconced in velvet

Since it's not socially acceptable to drape yourself in velvet everyday, this is the next best thing.... When wearing, you may be so comfortable that you'll stay on the couch for days.

Love them but they must be 36's in the length because they are way long. The ankle cuff is tight enough though to keep me from walking on the cuff so it's fine. I wear these probably 5 hours out of every day

These are a luxury. You don't need them, but they're pretty damn sweet. Nice trim fit. Super soft. Patagonia quality. Look good. If you've got some extra cash and are looking for a new pair of lounging pants, these are A+.
