    Slope 4L Runner Vest

If you're trying to push your limits in distance running but don't want to take on harder terrain and longer miles with a bulky running pack in tow, then Patagonia may have developed the perfect running vest for you. Introducing the Slope Runner 4L Vest, a running pack that fits like a piece of apparel but offers all the storage you need to bring hydration, gels, and important gear along for the ride. Made with breathable, stretchy, and moisture-managing materials, this vest moves with you comfortably as you run through quiet pine forests and over Rocky Mountain ridgelines. An airy back panel not only offers necessary structure, but also delivers steady airflow to keep you cool and to keep the vest from feeling too hot or burdensome. Four stretch pockets in the front provide quick storage for gels and snacks, and also stash two included 500ml soft flasks to keep water close by when you need it most. A dedicated smart phone pocket, also on the chest, ensures that your phone can come along in case of emergency, while several other pockets give you stretchy storage space for packable shells, hats, and gloves.

    Favorite Vest

    I've used it several times

I'm 5'11 175 lbs and the large vest fit great. I used a 2L reservoir which stayed close to my back even when running low. I love all the stuff pockets making snacks and gu's easy to access. I know for me if I cant get to it super easy I wont eat it. This vest solves that issue well. I stuffed with a shell that most people wouldn't take running b/c its pretty extra but this pack still accommodated well being stuffed full. Overall just a fantastic vest.

    Perfect for short runs

    I've used it several times

This is a great vest for quick runs that you still need to carry a few essentials. This vest would be right at home in a race that you have aid stations every couple miles. Its a sweet design and very light.

    Runnin Simple

    I've used it several times

Really love this running vest. Not a ton of unnecessary gadgets or cords. The two soft flasks fit perfectly into the front pockets, and there is a great little zipper pocket to put your keys and wallet in. The fabric is super breathable too, so you wont be overheating from wearing this on a warm day.

    Ideal fit and comfort

I've put it through the wringer

I checked out the Slope Vest for the Teton Ragnar race. I was so impressed with the fit and breathability of the vest. It is hardly noticeable that you're wearing it while running, plus it is quite comfortable. There is just enough storage for some energy chews, keys, phone, and your water! I enjoyed using the flasks rather than the reservoir; simple to access while running without having to worry about the tube dangling around.

    Looks and feels very sleek

    I've used it several times

This is easily the cleanest vest I've used - others have a lot of zippers and dangly cords that get in the way, break, and flap around. The fit worked perfect for me, and the form-fitting design would probably work well for most people. Overall, super happy with the form and function of this vest. My only slight complaint is that the stock soft flasks are very long and skinny - this makes them a lot less bouncy on the run, but they become a little hard to work with when they aren't full. Pair it with a Houdini and you are set for a sweet 3 season trail running setup. I'm looking forward to trying out the 8L version for longer days, but this thing can fit enough calories and h20 for a pretty long day.
