Good fit and great features
As a tall lady I often have a hard time finding pants that fit, and I’m pretty happy with this pair. I have hips, long legs, and skinny calves/ankles. Not only do these pants fit up top, but they’re nicely fitted below the knee and hit right above my ankles... the narrow shape actually makes the pants look fashionable, where so many other pairs just look too short. They’re definitely a slim style and a pretty close fit, but the stretch is very comfortable. Real pants (pockets!) that fit like leggings.

Do like, but tight
I ordered my size based off of the chart and also other reviews. I am 5’4” 110lbs and people of the same stature and even a bit heavier (120lbs) were saying the 0 reg fit them just fine. I have HIPS and a skinny waist, so pants are always a struggle. I’m sending in the 0 regs for a size 2.

So far, so good
I bought these in the Dolomite Blue color and the color matches up pretty close to what you see on your screen. Size-wise, I'm generally on the cusp of a size 0 and a size 2, but based on previous reviews I decided to go with a 0. My advice is that if you want them to fit a little looser, I'd size up, but it may throw off the way they fit your waist; however, there is a drawstring that tucks away in the waistband that can help you out if you're short of a belt. Okay, so far what I love: - Pockets: actual legitimate pockets, 5 of them to be exact which makes them super handy and versatile. - Stretch: these are made with some pretty stretchy fabric, so I would think they could suit your climbing, backpacking, or casual needs, making for a super comfortable pant. - Lightweight: these are lighter-weight than even a pair of leggings in my opinion, so I think these will be way better summer pants than anything else. So far, what I don't love: - These may not be good climbing pants because of how thin they are, but I'll still probably give them the test. - Depending on the underwear, you'll probably end up with some underwear lines. - The overall fit varies down the whole pant, meaning that the waist is maybe a little loose, the thighs are a little more snug, and then the ankles are a little loose. The stretchiness makes up for it though and the fit also depends on your body type. UPDATE: I bought a second pair and tested them both on a backpacking trip. They're really nice for warmer weather, but not so nice once it cools down because they are rather thin. However, despite the thinness of the material, they're really durable and kept my legs safe from pokey plants and sliding down rocks and whatnot. The waistband is a bit loose on me, but it's not enough of a problem that they fall down or anything. They're really good at wicking away moisture and they're really breathable too. Still the best thing about them is the pockets--I can fit my entire iPhone 8 Plus in any of the 5 pockets without it feeling like a struggle.

The slim fit and how comfortable is like wearing a legging but gives the look of wearing more of a pant. Really enjoy the look and the feel of these. Does run large, normally I would wear a 2 but went down a size to a 0 because of the reviews.

Wish I'd Bought More Pairs
I wish I'd bought more than one pair of these pants. These are incredibly comfortable for hiking and cleaned up like new after being extremely dirty.

Great Hiking and Travel Pant
I bought these to use as a climbing pant, but they seem to be more like a hiking and travel pant like in the description. The material is thin so they seem like they would tear very easily if I used them for climbing. They are a very comfortable and stretchy material that would be great for walking around in. The waist was also big on me and the legs fit great on the size I bought, they have a drawstring waist to keep the waist tighter. I ended up returning the pants because of the fit though.

Uncertainty turned to love
I was uncertain about these pants at first because I have a consistent problem with pants shopping and that is: I am an athlete. My thighs and calves are apparently disproportionately thick compared to my waist, and this confuses pants designers I guess. So I always end up finding pants that fit me well in the legs but are way too large in the waist. This was the case with these pants. They fit me perfectly from the thigh down: just loose enough to look tailored and sharp, not so snug that they look like yoga pants. They have that jogger-style cut without looking like sweatpants or loungewear. The waistband, however, can pull away from my body about an inch or two, so it's pretty loose. If there wasn't a drawstring, I would not be able to wear them without being worried about them falling down. Fortunately, the drawstring kept me hopeful and I gave them a shot. I got these pants so that I could take my professionalism up a notch in my work at the ropes course, and today I got to wear them for the first time at a program and they did not fail me! I felt spiffy and professional and they were comfy as hell. The material is light and stretchy, so it barely felt like I was wearing pants. The cut is skinny, so I never felt like there was a bunch of fabric swishing around when I walked. They just look hella good, and my sister (who, of the two of us, is by far the more fashionably inclined) told me she loved them and looked at them with envy, so you know this was a good pick. I had been on the fence about these pants, but now I am solidly happy with my choice!

Amazing Travel Pants
I bought these for my wife before our honeymoon road trip in Canada. She wore them all the time. Hiking, driving, on the plane, they were fantastic for any situation. Her words - I highly recommend these pants if you are looking for something to travel in thats a tighter fit, stretchy and comfortable. I might get another color just so I have two pairs for all of our travels.

Slim Fitting Hiking Pants
These pants are a nice neutral hiking pant with a slim fit. I liked the more athletic fit & the thigh pocket for stashing my cell phone. They are very thin so I have worn tights under them for cooler hikes. I do wish I had sized down to a 0 for fit. They have an internal drawstring so they can be made tighter, but I get an odd bunch where they tie in the front.

Feel and Look Great
I got these pants to take from the office into the mountains and they do that flawlessly. They look classy and aren't an odd color so they blend in anywhere. The stretch on these pants is great making them very comfortable. What I especially like about these are the slim-leg! I haven't seen that before in hiking pants. It makes short people (5' 2") like myself not have to worry about the pant dragging on the ground.

EDIT: After wearing these 2-3 times, the fabric has begun to pill badly. I am disappointed in how quickly this has occurred. For the price I paid for these, I am not sure I would purchase these again. These pants rock. So comfortable with a nice stretch. Pockets are a good size and actually functional (a rarity for women's pants). I'm 5 ft 7 in and 140# and I went with the size 8 based on the manufactures' recommendations. I normally wear a size 4-6 in other brands like Prana or Columbia. My only complaint is that I have a pantie line since the fabric is so thin-but that's also what makes them so comfortable.
