Silent Down Insulated Jacket
Cold weather brings with it all kinds of involuntary sounds—angry grunts, exasperated groans, exclamations of all varieties. Keep it quiet with the ultra-warm Patagonia Men's Silent Down Jacket. Windproof, weather-resistant, and stuffed with down, this jacket will be your go-to for howling winds and frigid temps. With 700-fill recycled down insulation you've got enough warmth to step out on the coldest days with a smile on your face. When storms come through, you can keep yourself protected from falling snow with a stowable hood that hides in the jacket's high stand-up collar. A weather-resistant polyester face fabric treated with DWR (durable water repellent) sheds off snow and other light precipitation. You can easily stuff the hood back and zip it away when grey clouds clear.

i love this jacket- i like that its more Matte colored over the shiney black. Its puffy but not too bulky. Seriously, so warm and cozy for the winter days

Great Urban Jacket!

So I've worn this jacket only a handful of times, but it is a VERY nice piece. The warmth is great and definitely something I see myself wearing for years to come in the long winter months. It is a very stylish jacket, very sleek and modern...good with any outfit. This is definitely a city jacket though..in both looks and build. Not a bad thing. The fabric on the outside, while you can tell is built well, seems fairly delicate. While it is weather resistant, I couldn't imagine this jacket in more than light snow or drizzle. Not something I would want to be taking into the mountains or hiking. My only complaint is that at first the down came out from the jacket like crazy, but has seemed to calm down after a bit of wear.

I bought the Patagonia Silent Down for my younger brother as a gift. He's about 6 ft and likes to wear his clothes oversized, so I got him an XL. He loves how this wears and says it's extremely warm.

Black is Brown
Just bought the black jacket, delivered yesterday, definitely not black, more of a mocha, mostly a dark brown. Returned for Navy.

bought this jacket for multiple reasons, one just to keep warm in the cold long winters in montana. second reason is for hunting, its quiet design allows me to keep warm while spotting and while on the move tracking.

Awesome Jacket
- Height
- 5` 8"
- Weight

I bought this as a gift for my little brother, he absolutely loved it. He's about 6"2" and 160lbs and bought an XL, he likes to wear his stuff oversized so wouldn't recommend matching this sizing guide unless you like really oversized clothing. He commented that it felt lightweight, was warm, and felt durable. s
