I love this vest! I often times find myself cold in the winter, especially at work. Some of my other fleece vests tend to shrink and will rise up on me (I'm very tall). This vest holds it shape well, and is very thick and warm. All around a great vest!

I've had this vest for almost 4 years now, and it doesn't show the wear at all! It is incredibly warm and cozy, that perfect extra layer on crisp shoulder season days. The thickness of the fabric does not entirely block wind, so look to another layer for that effect. The cut allows for a bit of layering beneath it. I find that wearing something over it doesn't work so well, as the fabric is pretty stiff, relatively speaking. I'm 5'6

I bought this Patagonia Classic Retro-X Fleece Vest for my wife and she loves it. She's a huge Patagonia fan in general, but gravitated towards this vest due to the retro style and overall fit. Unlike some other Patagonia products that she's owned, this one fit true to size/small. It's great for kicking around town, and is more of a fashion piece than a performance one.

I love the colors these vests come in. I bought this in an XS in the cream/red color and it goes so well with just about everything. The vest is lightweight but keeps you incredibly warm. I normally wear a jacket inside my friend's house but was able to spend the entire night in nothing but a thin button up and this vest and managed to stay warm the entire night. Awesome for layering as well because it's not puffy and cumbersome like some vests. The vest does have a bit of a stiff feel to it but I imagine that will soften with time. I also disagree with some of the reviews that it's boxy and found the fit to actually be quite flattering. I do wish that the pocket on the left chest was even just a little bigger for a phone when I'm out and about.

Bought this throwback of a vest for my little sister, who goes to school in DC. It's a perfect combination of style, functionality, and warmth all in a retro package. She said she usually combines this with a sweater or hoodie on the walk to class and is toasty warm, except on truly frigid days when you would want an actual parka. Her favorite feature aside from the styling, is the fleece material. Once it has seen some use, it gets even softer! Definitely recommend giving this as a gift or just getting one for yourself!

The xs fits me without being tight. I am 34C , 37 hip. I wish the inner mesh liner was softer and not the ugly tan color. I wish it had 2 drop in pockets on the inside like the micro d and r4 jacket. I wish the chest pocket didn't have the different color block and was a larger hidden chest pocket. Better colors for winter skin tone women please !

Loving the throwback look on this vest! It's soft, warm, and so stylish! The inside of the vest isn't as soft and fuzzy as the outside however, the windproof lining is a bonus. Fits true to size and you can easily layer underneath. Everyone should be rocking this look.

I was skeptical about the price of the vest, but after wearing it once found the price to be worth it. The vest is very stylish - I get TONS of compliments on it almost every single time I wear it. I also found that it is fairly windproof. Although not as insulating as a down vest, I still found myself to be fairly warm on windy days. Other reviews online said that the fit was boxy and unfeminine- like the other reviewer, I found this to be false. The cut is slightly boxy, but that's how most vests are cut. Overall great vest! Would definitely recommend.

I like this vest for casual adventures. Not overly warm and pretty stiff material but fits well and is cute. I have it in the natural color with the purple. I get a lot of compliments while wearing it but haven't found it of much value for hiking or other outdoor activities. Just not warm enough for me to want to wear it as a layer. Did read in a lot of reviews that it had a boxy fit but didn't find this to be true. I like the fit and it fit true to size for me. Overall would recommend the vest.
