    Quintessential comfort.

When it comes to comfort, the Patagonia Women's Re-Tool Snap-T Fleece Pullover is queen. This luxurious pullover knows a thing or two about plush coziness thanks to its high-pile Polartec Thermal Pro fleece, which retains serious warmth—without the bulk. Additionally, the fabric is bluesign certified and touts a partially recycled construction, while the stand-up collar features a double layer of fleece, making it a formidable adversary against bitter winter chills. A four-snap front placket offers a customizable look, and the kangaroo-inspired handwarmer pocket provides warm respite for chilled hands. Not to mention, the princess seams assure a finished, effortless look that's equally at home on your couch as it is at the corner coffee shop.

    Ow so cozy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

This is my first snap-t pullover and I'm in love!! It's so cozy and warm especially in the cold Chicago wind! I ordered a large for a more relaxed look. I feel like everyone deserves at least one in their closet. You won't regret it!

    In LOVE!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Large

I'm a recent Patagonia shopper and this is my third purchase. I'm absolutely in LOVE with this sweater. By far the most comfortable pull-over I've ever worn. I've only owned it for three days and need to use self-control not to basically live in it 24/7. It's warm, incredibly soft, and I live in Minnesota so that's practically a necessity. I've gotten compliments on it every time I've worn it. It does run large, but I knew that going in and purposefully purchased a large over a medium (my usual size in Patagonia products). It's loose fitting, but not overly bulky. I'd buy another in a heartbeat. This came in the mail barely 48 hours after ordering it, and I am 100% satisfied.

    Great Everyday Fleece

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

This is a great fleece for staying warm and still looking good. It is a great option for the weekend when you are out running errands, walking the dog etc. I really like the kangaroo pocket for stashing car keys etc. It is also super soft which is always a bonus!

Really warm but sizing is off

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Small

I bought my first sweater in black a few months ago and it was really warm and easy to maintain so I decided to order another in Harvest Moon Blue recently but the sizing is way off. I'm 5'4", 130lbs and I got the small both times. With the first sweater, the fit was loose and was perfect for layering a long sleeve tshirt underneath. The second one arrived recently and felt like it's a size smaller but the tag says it's a small. The second one is significantly smaller than the first especially on the sides when I put one on top of the other. I'll probably keep both just because the second one is more fitted but a heads up for folks buying this.

    Perfect!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium

I'm usually between a size small and medium and after reading reviews, I went with a medium. And I'm so happy I did. My Patagonia is extremely soft and even kept we warm in the 6 degree Canada weather. Great purchase.

    Returned for larger size

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium/Large

I loved this fleece. The medium size fit, but I wanted something a little more comfortable and cozy so I returned it and exchanged for a large. Did not receive the large yet, but I'm sure it will be just as comfortable. The quality of Patagonia is well worth the price.

    Great fleece

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium

I got the medium and it fits perfectly but I'm wishing I had got the large so it would've fit more cozy. I'm really happy with the fleece overall though!

    Warm and cozy

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: large

I can't express enough how much I love this pullover. It feels like you're wearing a soft cozy blanket. It fits great. Sleeves are a perfect length for longer arms. It hits right at the hip which is a great length. You won't regret this purchase. I usually wear a medium but after reading reviews, went to a large. Its just right with a little room for a base layer.

    I love this sweater

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

This sweater is so soft and comfortable. The inside of the kangaroo pouch is a mesh material. I am not a big fan of it but it wouldn't keep me from buying it again. I am a s/m and decided to order a medium after reading the reviews. It fits perfectly for a cozy sweater.

    Love it!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

I was worried about sizing. I'm 5' 8" and 125 pounds. I went with the Small over the Medium and it fits perfectly! It's also the most comfortable thing I've worn in a while. It feels like I'm walking around in a cloud of comfort.

Order a size larger than usual

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XS

I ordered this sweater in size xs because I'm 5'2" and weigh about 105 lbs. The sweater arrived two days after I ordered it, which is awesome all by itself. I was so exited when I got it. The blue color is beautiful and the material is very, very soft and cuddly. Now to the not so good part: The sweater fits, but just barely. It would fit a child, but not me. And the sleeves are very long, not proportionate to the rest of the very small sweater. So, unfortunately, it will go back.

    Runs very small

I was an extra small in the better sweater vest, but the extra small in this product is super tight. For reference, I'm 5'6, 115 lbs, A. Wouldn't consider myself broad shouldered. Exchanging for a small and considering how tight (and short the sleeves are), I would bet I would even be comfortable in a medium with a layer underneath.

      Warm & Fuzzy

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Medium

I love this sweater! It fits me perfectly, although I thought it would be a bit baggier. It does hug a little tighter at the hips, but I love that type of fit! backcountry had it at my doorstep less than 24hrs after I ordered it.

Super soft - but slim fit

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Medium

Love love love this pullover! Did not know it was slim fit, if you like this roomy, order up a size!

      In Love!

      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Small

First off - I ordered this not even 24 hours ago and just received it this morning. So awesome! The sweater is incredibly warm and comfortable. Colors are exactly as shown in the picture (I got the tailored grey/harvest moon). I read almost all the reviews on here plus external sites about sizing and went ahead with a Small. Although XS would fit me, it'd be more form fitting and may be uncomfortable if you're trying to layer a long sleeve underneath. A small is a comfortable fit for my petite frame. I just want to go nap in this now.

      NOT 'Regular' Fit!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Large

Despite the description saying 'Princess seams and regular fit provide a sleek look' and the specs listing the Fit as 'Regular', it is not. If you purchase this pullover you will notice immediately that the tag says Slim Fit. I have other Snap-T fleeces (the classic fleece and the quilted one), all Mediums, but in this one the Medium was too small. I have to size up to a large, NBD but again, had I known it was a slim fit, I probably could have predicted this. That said though, Back Country is absolutely wonderful about their returns and exchanges so I had no problem getting my M switched out for a L, which by the way is a perfect fit. The product itself is excellent, a little more luxurious than the classic fleece, super soft and super warm. The Harvest Moon Blue is a wonderful color, super bright and vibrant royal blue. The sleeves and hem are trimmed with fleece, nothing itchy. No regrets after I was able to get it switched out, I love it! I let Back Country know about the Regular/Slim fit issue but I noticed they still haven't update the details so I wanted to get this review out right away, hopefully save some other shoppers the trouble. It may not mean you need to size up but if you're borderline on the regular fit like me, it definitely might bump you up.

I'm wondering whether I should size up or down; I am 5'9 and weigh 160 and usually wear a size 10. I normally don't like to have my jackets too tight and that is why I am torn between a medium or large

Aqua stone/Beryl Green Cross-Dye: Which color is the aqua stone -- the overall main color? -- and is the trim the Beryl Green Cross-dye or what? Please tell me which is which. Thanks

      Hey there,

So the "x-dye" denotation is referring to both dyes being mixed into the fabric. So the outcome of mixing Aqua Stone with Beryl Green is a lighter Beryl like you see here. The original Beryl looks like this:

      is this pullover lined?

Like Adora said, it is not lined. I agree with her comment it is incredibly cozy for that reason (not wind proof though). I've always wondered why with other fuzzy fleeces they line it (like the Patagonia Retro pieces) because I would rather have the fuzzy cozy material on the interior!

How purple is that color? It looks almost greyish. Thanks.

      Hey Julianne,

It's definitely purple, and is more muted than the sheen in our photos might suggest. It's kind of a 'heather', with some white flecks in the mix that lighten up the overall color. Hope that makes sense-- if not give me a call!
