So sweet

Familiarity:

My new favorite layer for ski touring and winter running, anything fairly high-out put. Fit is great, just a tad trim for better layering underneath a shell. Not to mention the pattern of the "waffle" adds a really cool visual element.

Favorite piece of mid layer insulation

It has become my favorite piece of mid layer insulation either on a climb, hiking into climb, or lounging around the house afterwards. It has just enough pockets to keep extras handy and warm too, like bite size kind bars or extra batteries for my headlamp.

Love it

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
XL

It’s lightweight, warm and it looks good. I’m usually on border between L and XL but go XL on anything with long sleeves since I have ridiculous knuckle dragging ape length arms. Fits fine.

6'2 195 lbs, garbage fit for anyone who is tall with a slimmer build. The torso is massive on the XL.

This is my favorite & best item. The fabric is thin and easy to layer, yet still very warm. It is the best item not only for everyday life but also for mountaineering clothing. I love it!!!

very warm, nice trim Arc'teryx like fit

This has become my favorite fleece. The fit is trim--somewhat uncharacteristic for Patagonia and more similar to my Arc'teryx jackets. The fabric is thin and easy to layer, yet still very warm. It compares very favorably with my beloved Fortrez that I was trying to replace. The fabric is breathable and not hardface, so it has neither wind nor water resistance. I'm not sure what the chest pocket is for, but if it bothers you, it looks like it could be easily removed,

Definitely Size Up

Ended up having to return. Loved the quality & look of the hoodie, but even though I wear somewhere between a medium & large in all my other Patagonia gear. The large I received was uncomfortably tight. Will need to order an XL if I decide to try again.

My favorite mid-layer out there

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
Small
Height:

I've obsessed over finding the perfect mid-layer, and this one hits the spot for me. I've had it for a year now and the quality of the fabric has held up surprisingly well with heavy use. The warmth: breathability ratio is as good as it gets- I can wear this without an outer layer for 20-degree ski touring as well as summer alpine climbing without overheating or becoming too sweaty. Keep in mind, it breathes well, which also means that wind cuts through it pretty easily. So, if the wind picks up, throw on a windproof outerlayer and it'll continue to impress!

Fit doesn?t work for me

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
Large and XL
Weight:

The large was too small in the shoulders/chest area and the XL was too bulky/wide in torso. Shame because I really like the idea of it
