My favorite Patagonia mackerel flavor.

This is my favorite of the mackerels. It has a mild flavor and is delicious on toast for a fabulous breakfast. Top it with a boiled egg and life is great.

Cardboard

Tastes and smells like a cardboard box. Worse than bland.

perfect quick meal

All the Mackerel "flavors" are good, but Lemon Caper is a favorite. We eat Patagonia Mackerel a few times a week, with rice noodles is our favorite - quick, easy, excellent protein and yummy! Add some veggies and the mackerel makes a simple meal a perfect meal!

A fish for all seasons

I somehow never get tired of making a meal or snack out of this mackerel. The flesh of the fish is buttery and perfectly balanced by the acidic zing of the lemons and capers. Great on rice with avocado and nori, excellent in a toasted brioche hot-dog bun with a light layer of mayo and crisped onions. I'm getting hungry just thinking of it...

Toddler approved.

My 3 year old granddaughter loves them. I like to make sandwiches with these with roasted peppers.

Perfect summer supper

Inverted over a pretty plate of whole wheat pasta, lightly warmed and served with fresh garden tomatoes, corn and cool melon: just the treat anticipated after a day of heavy outdoor work!

Another serving of Mackerel (Caballa) please !!!!

Never before had mackerel (except at a sushi restaurant) and I love it! The name of the fish in Spanish is Caballa and very popular in Spain now that I am paying attention. The Lemon Caper version from Patagonia is fantastic.
