Catch the sunrise.
Heading out to the barn for the pre-dawn shift or just getting up early to take in the sunrise? Pull on the Patagonia Women's Prairie Dawn Jacket before braving the brisk air. Inspired by work-wear, this rugged cotton canvas coat handles the rough and tumble life of working on a farm, yet it knows how to be rurally chic when you're heading into the city for a few supplies (like moisturizer and mascara). At work or at play, this hiney-hiding jacket stands up to most things that come its way.
Organic cotton canvas won't let incidental contact with pointy branches or abrasive concrete turn into a hole-y event. Flip the fleece-lined hood up when ill winds stop whispering and start shouting. A drawcord at the waist gives you curve control, and two hand pockets give you top or side access to what lies within.

love patagonia...but not this one!
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: True to size
i wanted to love this jacket...i truly did! the color was great (fatigue green) & the length was perfect for when you wanted something a bit longer BUT...the "waist" , where you can adjust for a tighter fit is weirdly high & has plastic toggles that stick out on the inside & are super uncomfortable. i'm 5'2" & 102 lbs and had the XS. the fit would've been just right other than the waist issue. i must've tried this on a hundred times before deciding i would never wear it due to the reason i just mentioned. :( my first ever patagucci return!
super cute and comfortable
- Familiarity: I've used it several times

This jacket exceeded my expectations. bought this for casual wear/layering and I find myself grabbing it frequently to go with many different outfits/occasions. I bought the fatigue green color and it looks true to the image, also it has the cute blue and white plaid color trim inside the bottom hem and the top of the inside(you can see it peeking out in the picture) as well as on the inside of the sleeves so if you roll back the sleeves a couple inches you can see the plaid (this looks really cute) or you can leave the sleeves down and not see the plaid, which adds to the versatility of this jacket. It also has draw strings on the waist in the inside so you can make it tighter around the waist or you can leave it loose and layer more underneath it. The fleece in the hood is super soft. I am 5'2 and 120-125 lbs and ordered the small and it fits perfect. I have some room to layer more underneath if I wanted too. This is a quality made product. I would order it in the other color if I could afford it.
What is the center back length of a medium?
