My new go-to jacket

Super light weight and comfortable. Well made. Surprisingly warm. If it is sunny without any wind, it is good down into the 30's. But if it is cloudy and windy, not so much. Maybe low 40's at the lowest.

There are two consumer products I use so much that I would replace immediately on the same day if I lost or damaged them--my Airpods and this jacket. Perfect weight, looks good, packable, warm. Classic style and not as "puffy" as other insulated jackets--even serves as my winter coat in the south (layering underneath). Buy with confidence!

I bought this as a gift for my husband and there is a slight tear in the arm. I wrote to your help service nearly two weeks ago when I received the first review request and still haven’t heard back from anyone. I am wondering if this can be replaced since it’s within the Christmas purchased time frame? My husband loves the coat and would give it 5 stars but for now, I’m giving Backcountry’s response to customer service one star

I can’t believe how warm and lite this jacket is! It feels like a t-shirt! I think the price is a bit on the high side but it’s worth it if you have it. Let’s be honest Pantagonia is not cheap!

Great jacket for many years ahead

Bought this as a "tweener" 40's jacket when my Arc'teryx Atom AR is too warm. So far could not be happier. Super light puffer that can also be used under a shell for certain activities. Not the cheapest option but at 20% off and given how long a good jacket can last, something I won't even think about. Terrific product.

It is warm and light. I wear it in Chicago for temperature ranging from 35-60F. Very versatile !

Too big

After reading reviews saying this jacket ran small I purchased a large. I am 180 6'0 slender frame. The jacket was way too big for me. If I had 2 large sweaters underneath the jacket It would have been a perfect fit, but I was looking for something that could be a shell over a tee or a sweatshirt.

I LOVE this jacket in Lagom Blue. I tried to find it in navy and Buckhorn Green to no avail. I'll purchase another color if something good comes out.
