    Nano Puff Bivy Insulated Pullover

When sun is just a faint glow to the west and the stars are beginning to appear, slip into the Patagonia Women's Nano Puff Bivy Insulated Pullover and tackle those last few pitches you've been dying to climb. A brick quilting pattern keeps Patagonia's most thermally-efficient synthetic insulation in place for an even and warm fill that is also incredibly light. The windproof, water-repelling shell protects you on exposed belays, while the under-helmet hood offers an added layer of comfort and warmth.

A kangaroo-style pocket lets you hide your hands from the wind and cold. The regular fit allows you to wear this jacket as a top-layer and doesn't add bulk when layered under a shell. A half-zip provides versatility and venting. The zippered chest drop-in keeps your essentials secure and doubles as a stuffsack for convenient carry and storage.

    • An alpine jacket that lets you keep the adventure going
    • Lightweight insulation for serious, eco-conscious warmth
    • Under-helmet hood for added protection
    • Zippered torso pocket keeps items secure and doubles as stuffsack
    • Regular fit for a variety of layering options
    • Patagonia's eco-friendly designs protects the world it helps you explore
    • Item #PAT01M4

    MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE

This is my second Bivy pull over. This is a no brainer and a solid investment you will have for years to come. This piece will not let you down. I wear it everywhere and more often than I should. Washes very nicely - I hang to dry. I agree with other reviews that it can be difficult to remove so I would size up if you want to wear clothing underneath. I only wear a base layer underneath so I stayed at my same XS size - but yes I have a very mild struggle to get it off at the end of the day which does not bother me at all.I do wish they would have better colors like a deep forest or moss Green and light or a dark graphite grey or a few earth-tone colors. I find the pink and purple and mint girly colors super obnoxious.

I'm crazy about this jacket. It's comfortable, form-fitting, & warm. I took it backpacking in the alpine and it was amazing. It packed down super small and then was my primary source of warmth in the mountains. I didn't even need to layer with it - it worked great on it's own (granted I run fairly warm). I convinced a good friend to get one of her own as well. I got the green color (which might have a propensity to get a little dirtier than the other colors, but such is the life of the mountains). I'm crazy happy with this purchase.

This is such a fantastic a versatile layer. When camping, I find it's perfect for chilly mornings and brisk evenings. It's easy to throw on and the kangaroo pouch is on point for carrying around little odds and ends. I had this in the green and it's such a pretty color.

Since I have bought this jacket, I have not left home without it. Dawn patrol in the AM it is for sure with me, heading into the office, after work climbing gym sesh - yep there. A night out to grab so beers? YES. I have yet to wash it... but it doesn't hold the odor in my opinion! It is the perfect active adventure weight, for winter, spring and fall conditions.

This pullover nano puff bivy is my new favorite Patagonia. I have found it is the perfect jacket to toss on while I am touring or leaving the gym - so versatile. It is flattering and the length is great if you have a longer torso. Would definitely recommend.

I really do love this jacket. I've worn it almost everyday since I got it. I wear it as a layer under shell to keep me warm skiing and snowshoeing. I wear to work when my office is freezing. I recently brought this on a weekend trip to Seattle as my main jacket. It was perfect for spring layering! The zipped kangaroo pocket is essential for phone / wallet / sunglasses and ensures they don't fall out.

This jacket is SO great, you guys. I feel just like one of those brick mario blocks, like other people must think so too because they punch the crap out of me when I'm walking by on the street and random coins and mushrooms and stuff just pop out of this jacket, it is so crazy!

Amazing insulated jacket. Incredibly lightweight and warm. I use this for skiing, touring, hiking, climbing, or just lounging around. The pullover half-zip style is great, and the pockets are an extra bonus. Can't recommend enough!

    Another Amazing Jacket from Patagonia!

I love Patagonia, and their nano puff technology is an amazing combination of lightness and warmth. I wanted something with a bigger pocket, so this was a perfect. I love that it packs into itself! I wear it around SLC, which can get as cold as 10-20F at night, and so for those days I simply add another light layer, and I'm fine. Also for climbers, the half zip doesn't get in the way of your harness, so that's awesome too! The hood stays on in the wind as well. Really can't think of any negatives. Wonderful jacket!

I love absolutely everything about the bivy. I wear it as a sweatshirt, but I can also wear it as a top layer for skiing. I went with my normal size and I still have room for another layer under.

I've used this as a jacket in the spring/fall, midlayer in the winter and top layer on the uphill touring. It's the perfect weight (thin yet warm) and super breathable. I really like the pullover design and the kangaroo pouch and hood come in handy more than I thought they would. Love this one!

I bought the Bivy about a week ago and haven't taken it off. I wear this insulated pullover to work, around town, and on and off the trail. It's the perfect layer for those low-30s to 40 chilly fall days, but I see myself wearing it through the winter and just adding a base layer. I like this better than nano puff because of the kangaroo pocket! It's so convenient and practical for bike rides. I wear a small, and I think I could have sized down but I'm pleased with the extra room for layers. If I were you, I'd buy this jacket!!

This is my go-to layering piece! I live in new england, where it always rains. I work outdoors year round. Believe it or not it is a part if my rain outfit, now. I layer it beneath my rain shell or just wear it. This is an AMAZING wind stopper and dries so fast I can barely believe it. Love this piece! Only downside is it has a few tears because I do a lot of climbing and working on machinery in my job.

Love this hoody! It is warm, lightweight, easy enough to roll up and stash in a bag and it fits great! My only complaint is I ordered it in black but it’s more of a weird dark gray/navy mixture to me. Not as dark as the initial photos make it look but I still love it and it’s definitely worth keeping!

    Wow!!!

This jacket is a comfy kangaroo home! It has great insulation for any outdoor or indoor activity. My favorite place to wear it is hiking or even a cold day at the office. Super amazing jacket. Highly recommended!

I don’t know what size to get, I usually wear medium or small but just bought the Torentshell in a Large so that it would fit over my bottom for some coverage. But I have the better sweater vest in a small. Any suggestions?

    >Rating:

I usually wear a medium to a large shirt, my northface coat is a medium. I have a larger chest so I am wondering if I should get a Medium or Large of the patagonia nano puff pullover.

Hey Jessica, I think you would fit well in a size Medium in this pullover. I also have trouble finding clothes that fit well with a large chest, and Patagonia's styles are generally a bit boxier and accommodate our body type well.
