Purchased this in the color DYNO WHITE. I was soo happy to see that it went on sale from 99$ down to 54$! I recieved it in the mail within a couple days of ordering and I tried it on as soon as I opened it. I absolutely love it! I read reviews before buying and based on what others said, this particular jacket runs small, however I'm a petite sized woman so I went ahead and ordered a XS (it was the only size available in that particular color and sale) and thankfully I was completely satisfied with the fit! So soft and comfy. I want to get more colors now !! After reading reviews about the sizes running small, and after wearing the jacket myself, I've come to the opinion that this jacket actually runs true to size. If you read the details, it does state that it's more form fitting. So I would say that you should buy the size you would normally wear in tops, unless you want more room for layers then I'd say size up one. I was really glad I got a XS. I know had I got even a size S it wouldn't have fit me like I wanted.

I was gifted this and had been wearing it around the house on chilly days for a season but put it to the test camping with a low of 10 degrees - this is so incredibly warm and worth the purchase if you are looking for a cozy sweater and especially if you are looking for a very warm layer to add to your winter gear. I would say this runs slightly small for a comfy fit

Not sure why this fleece has so many great reviews? It’s warm but looks ratty in person. It’s very thin and looks like it’s been washed and worn multiple times and the tags are still attached! I do not agree that it runs small. I wear an XL in the retool fleece and there’s extra room, and this is only slightly closer to the body.

Ordered in large. Mistake. Need a XL at minimum. Should have listened to the majority of reviews that stated this item runs a size small.

I really don't like this jacket at all. I agree with another reviewer that it looks and feels very cheap. The quality feels like something you would find in any generic store. The fit is small. I typically choose a medium, and I would have needed a large in this. Very disappointing.

It's a bummer when Patagonia fails and their stuff becomes non-quality and the price tricks the buyer.Too much mass production.

Don't Size Up

Highly recommend this ultra soft fleece. Many reviews mentioned the need to size up, but if you know you are a certain size in Patagonia tops, get that size. Do not size up! I am always an XS in Patagonia tops, but I got the small and it is far too big. Exchanging for the XS and very excited for my new fleece! For reference, I'm 125lbs 5'3" and a 32B.

The reviews are correct - size up! For reference, I typically wear a Small or if it's a slim fit I take a Medium. I bought a Large in this and it fits how I want it to which is with enough space to wear a shirt underneath and still be comfortable but not look frumpy/being swallowed whole. It's incredibly soft and cozy. Since I'm working from home for who knows how long, I don't think I'll be taking it off until the weather gets warm. Highly recommended but gotta remember to buy a larger size than you normally would!

I bought this after Thanksgiving and I’m so glad that I did. I bought a large (in my other Patagonia pullovers, I wear medium), so that it would fit looser. Even with a large, it’s pretty close fitting, so I would definitely size up. I’ve been wearing it nearly every day since I received it. I will be washing it inside out on cold and hang drying as I do with all of my clothing.

Ordered the grey color because the blue was out of stock. Is a fitted fleece just like shown on the model. Fits just right and is super soft and cozy. I washed right away inside out and lined dry due to some shedding. Ordered this piece to wear under a winter coat. So the fitted fit is perfect. If you want looser size up. Only thing I would love more, would be some hand pockets.

I bought this to wear in my stupidly cold office and haven't really tested it outside yet but I finally don't freeze inside. I deducted 1 star because I really wish it had pockets (partially my fault for not noticing but still) and I feel like it doesn't block the wind when I'm outside- it's still warm enough that I wouldn't consider wearing it for a hike until it got really cold but if it's windy definitely would need paired with another layer. Probably great for around camp wear. I typically wear a large; I feel it runs true to size. The sleeves are long on me but that's normal and I don't mind keeping the bottom third of my hands warm.

It definitely runs small so I'm glad I ordered an XL - I like my pullovers to be loose. It's SUPER warm and cozy. It does leave some fuzziness on whatever you're wearing underneath but I'm hoping that will improve after I wash it, and I hope the softness doesn't deteriorate either. My biggest complaint is that I wish it had pockets, but otherwise I love it.

I purchased the Khaki color and it couldn't have been a more perfect "just because" gift for my mom. I knew the material would be comfortable that's what I was going for. I don't think I would recommend for anything other then lounging around and relaxing but if that is what you are looking for then this checks all the marks. Enjoy.

It runs small! I am 5’1 and 100lbs and the Xsmall fit great as long as I didn’t have anything on underneath. The small is larger in the waist which isnt the most flattering...but it’s much easier wearing a long sleeve with it! Really comfortable

Back country sucks

Well considering back country never got me this item when I ordered it I’m giving it 0 stars. They also told me they would let me know when it was restocked and offered me my first time shopper coupon (since i used it to purchase this originally) so I could buy it and I never got that either! Not a problem with the sweatshirt just wanna warm others about the bad exerpiences I had with the website!

I’m not crazy about this pullover. For the price, it’s not nearly as nice as I expected. I also sized up as everyone suggested and it’s too large as a result. The khaki color does not flatter my blonde hair/light skin combination. I definitely prefer my north face osito to this.

Has anyone had a problem with this shrinking? Thanks!
